;Follow these Steps to Append or Modify this file;1. Specify the PV Elite Installation folder in the Row 2 Column 7. ;2. To add new loads, go to the end of the current data and specify the name of this ; set of nozzle loades in curly braces in the 1st column, such as {Project B Loading};3. Specify the conversion factor to convert the forces from your units to lbf. Enter this in 1st column as #cnvfor= ;4. Simmilarly specify the conversion factor for moment from your units to ft-lbs. Enter this in the 1st column as #cnvmom; for example, if you want to enter the forces in lbf and moments in ft-lb. Then the conversion factors are 1.; You can only specify loads for a particular project in 1 set of units. ;5 These loads are assumed to be operating. Specify the factors used to distribute the loads in Sustained, Expansion and Occasional categories ; this is based on your engineering judgement.;6. The loads are classified first on the flange class and then on the nozzle diameter. Start by adding loads for 150 class nozzle. [150];7. Then you can add the heading rows, any lines with a semicoln in the front is a comment.;8. Start entering the nozzle loades for various sizes. The various Columns are:; NPS(inches) , DN(in mm) , Vl (longitudinal shear), Vc (Circumferential shear), P (Radial Shear),; Ml (Longitudinal Moment), Mc (Cirumferential Moment), Mt (Torsional moment). ; The loads are in WRC-107 convention.;9. After you are finished entering the data, press the button "Create Nozzle Load Text File". ;10. Save a copy of this file in a different directory. as it may be overwritten during new installs.; After installing a patch or the new version, you may have to merge your changes in this file. ;11. In the Program, go to the nozzle dialog, go to Local Stress Analysis tab, check the box to perform analysis per WRC-107 or PD5500.; then click on the icon underneath the appropriate load column to import the loads.
