What is NSA Looking For?What is NSA Looking For?

The breadth of products and services NSA acquires is varied.

Your Agency customer base breaks into three broad categories:

– Signals Intelligence, or SIGINT: This is the classic “codebreaking”

– Information Assurance, or IA: This is the “codemaking” side of the Agency’s mission.

– “Mission Enablers.” This is the glue that holds everything together.

How Do We Acquire? How Do We Acquire?

NSA does not openly advertise our business opportunities on FEDBIZOPPS www.fedbizopps.gov

NSA follows the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) www.arnet.gov/far and Defense supplement to FAR (DFARS) www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfars/html/r20070913/tochtml.htm

NSA makes use of the National Security Exception which allows for “Other Than Full and Open Competition”

We match our requirements with potential vendors through market research

Market Research Tool - ARC
