Resonate Testing Ltd is a commercial test house for organisations from all sectors in need of high quality Testing and Certification Services. Resonate specialises in Vibration and Shock, Fire and Flammability, and Combined Environmental testing.

Resonate Testing is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Nacelle Group, which includes Aerospace Engineering organisation Nacelle Systems Consultancy (NSC).

NSC has a long history and specialist knowledge in Vibration, Fire and Environmental Testing for customers worldwide. NSC’s experience in aerospace engineering provides a key foundation for our test capabilities, and customers can be confident in a highly professional and knowledgeable service.

QUALITY STANDARDS

Resonate Testing holds accreditation to internationally recognised test house standard ISO17025. We are FAA listed for fire testing and have approved supplier status from a number of OEM clients.

We are experienced in developing and maintaining Quality Systems to ensure the highest service standards for our customers. The Nacelle Group holds ISO 9001.

LOCATION & FACILITIES

The Resonate Testing facility is located in Newry, Northern Ireland, less than an hour from airports in Belfast & Dublin, linked by major road and rail links, giving excellent access to UK, European and Worldwide routes.

The facility has 6000sqft of purpose built test space including dedicated Vibration and Fire labs, and a range of environmental capabilities including Altitude testing.

We also maintain on site capabilities to design and fabricate rigs and fixtures for testing.

Resonate Testing offers Fire Testing using two types of kerosene oil burner: a modified gun burner (Carlin) type; and the NexGen burner, both per FAA requirements.

We also offer smaller-scale flammability tests for all industries. These include:

• Flammability; Vertical • Flammability; Horizontal• Flammability; 45 Degrees

We can also organise OSU and Smoke/Toxicity Testing.

ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING

Resonate Testing offers a range of general environmental tests such as High / Low temperature cycling, Icing, Humidity and Altitude Testing.

We can also facilitate other test types through a range of partners including Sand / Dust, Salt Spray and Fluid susceptibility. As a result we can manage a full environmental test program on behalf of our clients.

SERVICES & CAPABILITIES

Resonate Testing is a Limited company registered in Northern Ireland, Company No. NI634844. A wholly owned subsidiary of Nacelle Group Holdings Ltd.

VIBRATION TESTING

The Test Facility has an IMV 54kn Air Cooled Shaker and Slip Table with a high velocity capability.The table has a peak to peak 4” stroke. Future expansion will include an optional chamber attachment to simulate installed operating conditions.

Flammability ChamberCarlin Burner

In addition our Powerplant testing can be performed with load application, vibration conditions (33hz and 50Hz) and internal fluids at temperature and pressure. It is also possible to reproduce varying airflows and pressure differentials across test pieces according to operating conditions required.
