Enabling New Features
All features in the backend are available now. You will not see any of these features on your published map until you go in and republish your existing map.
Multiple Layer Support
Stops now support multiple layersper marker stop. This is important when you have a building or location that can’t be easily categorized into a single group.
Mobile Audio Support
In 2.3 we released support for mobile photo galleries and video. In this release we continue to enhance our mobile offering with support for audio using a player built upon jPlayer. You must republish your map for this feature to go live.http://jplayer.org/
Support for Special Characters
In our first step towards multi-language support, all text fields in the product now support special characters. This includes titles, descriptions, layers, and more.
Paste from Word Support
Copy and pasting text from Microsoft Word is notorious for creating junk code and styling. In order to help remove this extra “junk” we have added a “Paste from Word” button to the editor. If you are copying and pasting text descriptions please use this button. You will thank us later.
Deep Linking Documentation

With the 2.3, release it is now possible to deep link to a specific layer or marker. In order to deep link on an embedded map, you need to add a snippet of custom JavaScript code to the page that has the map embedded. This code enables you to pass a URL parameter directly to the embedded map. If you are interested in deep linking to a specific marker or layer in your map, please contact us at [email protected] for this documentation. You can see examples of this in action through the two links below.
Bug Squashing
2.3.1. also saw us fix a number of bugs. The only bugs worth mentioning were related to cleaning up the user experience related to enabling and disabling layers as part of advanced functionality.
