These were turn-key projects on contract to complete in a 3 year time frame; Rodney completed the project in 86.3% of time frame and 3.25% under budget.

2006 – 2008 QUEENSLAND RAILWAYS

Project ‘Supervisor

ProjectHome view Rail & Road Up=Grade.

Rodney’s role on this project was a Design and Build on contract on a (2) year time frame he completed the project with-in the time frame and .013 % under budget.

Project involved the moving of the main north-south Gold-coast rail line without stopping the daily rail services. It also involved relocating the main road from Homeview to the Gold Coast; the project site was mostly asdic soil site and hard rock. Project also called for all new secondary roads to be upgraded and a new road and traffic over pass over existing M-1 Free-Way. Project called for all existing building to be moved and re-build with number of new building. Project involved 60 lot subdivide.

1996 - 2006 VOYAGERS RESORTS.

2001 - 2006Construction Manager

This construction involved the improvements of all existing resorts and building three new resorts. And to bring down costing of all up-keep material by designing self-staining plant such as de siltation plants for fresh water with all grey water used in power reversion and cooling, it involved the re-design of most of the existing sewerage plant and deslugging ponds and sewerage train for all sites.

All construction was to a five star rating including the transport Civil works which

included sea and airport works. Most of the existing standing buildings were redesigned to a uniform standard code so an all building material code could be written and intruded to marry to new building works on a given time frame.

Projects called for In house work force<120> and large number of sub contactors in all areas.

1996 - 2001Construction Manager

ProjectCurragh Coal Project

This project was a design and build and upgrade some of the existing structures, these upgrades were the coal wash plant to a coal processing plant. The project program also called for two new processing plants to be built one on Curragh North and one on Curragh South with the coal transferee rail system to marry to the new rail load out and existing rail system.

Project program of works included new haul road design and build, new bridges and upgrade to existing bridges, new service structures (offices, tyre sheds etc), new sealed and unsealed roadwork’s, new 200bed mining camp, upgrade and new water pipework’s, two new sewerage plants, 400K of steel fencing, design and build a civil drainage system for the recovery of not less that %60 of ground water run off.

Project program included a new electric power plant (Be-gas fuelled) for both north and south sites.

Project program included a 400 bed mens camp and 120 lot subdivide

Project Senior Design Engineer

ProjectSouth East Freeway

Project program called for the design and site management of motor way upgrade from set chain age 001 Brisbane to set chain age 006 Gold Coast.

Project program called for a six lane raised road bed design on %80 of work area with 16 bridge up grades and 4 new bridges one of which was under span design.

Project program called for the re design of all B and C class intersections and the traffic control on the above Band C class road systems.

Project program called for a redesign of 43% of all existing street lighting and a new control system to marry into the Brisbane traffic control main system the overall design called for 3 new control centres.

1989 – 1993 J.M. KLEIN CIVIL

Senior Project Engineer

ProjectMackay Harbor Project

Project called for the design of a medium size deep water harbor with sea access by a dredged sea way of 14 meters with a sea rock wall on both the north and south of the work area.

Program called for a small commerce area of 6 structures with a board walk system. Program included a new road works design to marry in the existing road works and new car and boat storage areas.
