What is Numerology?Numerology is the universal language of numbers. By breaking down the patterns of the universe into numbers, we are able to uncover information about the world as a whole, as well as every individual. The western form of Numerology, the Pythagorian system, is among the most enduring and popular of all self-help methods ever created. The Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Hebrews, Egyptians, Phoenicians, early Christians, Mayans and Incas all employed number systems to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the universe.Pythagorian Numerology was organized by Greek philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras, who combined the mathematical disciplines of the Arabic, Druid, Phoenician, Egyptian and Essene sciences. Since then, it has continued to evolve.

So is Numerology all about Science?

Is there a meaning behind numbers?

For the Expression number analysis, each letter of a person's name is given a numerical value from 1 - 9, then the numbers are added up and reduced to a single digit number, except in cases where the name comes out to 11 or 22. In the case of an 11 the person will have traits of an 11 in addition to (1 + 1 = 2) giving the person additional traits of a 2, and in the case of a 22 they will also have traits of a 4 (2 + 2 = 4).

To calculate the Life Path number, which is based on the birth-date, you use basic mathimatics and add up the numbers in the date and then reduce it. For example Jan. 25, 1973 becomes: (Jan = 1) + (25 = 2 + 5 = 7) + (1973 = 1 + 9 + 7 + 3 = 20 = 2 + 0 = 2) = (1 + 7 + 2 = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1) = 1.

The Number One

One is associated with the Sun; energy; beginnings. People with a number one in an important part of their profile are usually one-of-a-kind. They're strong and individualistic. They make great leaders, they're dynamic visionaries with courage and ambition. On the down side, they can be lonely, demanding and sometimes selfish.

The Number Two

Two is associated with the Moon; balance; duality; polarity. It's a passive number. It’s the number of pairs-- partners, twins, married couples or friends. People with significant tows are prone to being emotional, very intuitive and fluid. They may also have trouble with emotions, being easily overwhelmed by negative emotions, and are frequently introverts.

culmination of the other numbers and their traits, as nines are generally

highly attuned, responsive, philosophical individuals in all areas. They can

be prone to mood sings, feelings of isolation and self-pity when things

aren't working out.

Can we use numbers to predict the future?

Numerology is a self-help tool that can reveal much about your personal

character and your life as a whole. In many ways, Numerology can both predict

and not predict your future. While your Numerology cycles indicate the

opportunities and challenges, joys and pains that will arise throughout different

periods of your life, the way you choose to handle these occurrences at any

given moment is still up to you.

With the right theory, knowing one set of numbers can tell you what a future set of numbers could be, MIT theoretical physicist Edward Farhi says. "Physics is really the business of taking numbers, the values and attributes of things, turning a crank, which is our theory, and arriving at new numbers which predict what will happen in the future,"

For example, engineers can crank out numbers to predict where NASA's New Horizons spacecraft will be in 2015 (somewhere around Pluto,) or where the Cassini orbiter will be in 2017 (still checking out Saturn's moons, if scientists have their way). But "It gets much more complicated when we try to predict complicated things," Farhi said. "Really, what we're talking about is where you draw the line."
