HOW TO MAKE MOM’S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIESBy: Cherie Nunes

INGREDIENTS

­2/3 Cup butter or margarine softened­ 2/3 Cup shortening­ 1 Cup Sugar­ 1 Cup brown sugar­ 2 Eggs­ 2 Tablespoons Vanilla­ 3 ½ Cups Flour­ 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda­ 1 Teaspoon Salt­ 1 Bag Semi­Sweet chocolate chips

STEP 1

Gather all ingredients Set oven to 375 degrees

STEP 2

Mix together Butter and Shortening…..

STEP 3

Add Sugars, Eggs and Vanilla

STEP 4Mix in a separate bowl: Flour, Baking soda, Salt

THEN…add to the butter mixture, 1 cup at a time

STEP 5Add the Chocolate Chips and Mix well….

….But don’t eat too much dough, or you’ll get sick!

STEP 6

Spoon 1 tablespoon for each cookie on the cookie sheet

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes 

Don’t worry, I washed my hands!

STEP 7

Let the cookies sit on pan for about 1 min before transferring to cooling rack.

STEP 8AND FINALLY….
