The work is interesting and challenging; our OR nurses scrub and circulate. Our eight operating suites handle 14–25 surgeries a day, including total joint replacement, spine and other neurologic cases, bariatrics, cancer, complex ENT procedures, and a growing number of urology cases. We also have a respected open-heart surgery program. (Outpatient surgeries are usually handled by a separate staff, in our Outpatient Surgery Center.)
