Industry Speak“... my experience was extremely enriching and joyfully

interactive. I have had the opportunity to have sessions and

interaction with many business schools but I have to say that

the group I interacted in your campus was well informed

and intelligent. I loved to answer a lot of curious questions... I

wish I could spend some more time with this bright bunch. I

would have surely ended up learning few things from them."

V Krishnan - Co-founder and Director, Just Dial

“The discourse was mature, frank and open minded...This

approach of both the program participants as well as the

faculty at IMT Ghaziabad speaks volumes of the maturity of

the PGDM Executive Program.

In short, these are the kind of professionals with whom I

would love to work within the industry…. I wish the

program participants all the very best for their future; I

would expect to hear their names appearing in the ‘who’s

who’ of Indian and International industry in the years to

come.”

Diptendu Bhattacharya (Head – Corporate Alliances, Steria Group)

“I was extremely satisfied with the depth and quality of

interactions during the session. This batch of students with

wide range of prior professional experiences was very

vibrant, enthusiastic, inquisitive, sharp, interactive and had

their feet on the ground. I am of the firm view that all of

them shall make very successful professional.”

M L Chakraborty (DED (Deputy Executive director) HR from Dalmia

Bharat Group)

“What made for an interesting dialogue was the ability of

the audience to question the status quo and collectively

compare and contrast theory with practice, from hindsight.

This made for a lively dialogue and we had a few "What-if"

scenarios to discuss.”

Alumni Speak“Nurturing the skills of indi-

viduals so that they can enter

the corporate world with great

panache is what education at

IMT stands for! The curriculum

at IMT enables one to learn

from ones’ own peers & world-

class faculty, who imbibe

knowledge in the students through their vast learning

experience. I will always remember the thoughtful

conversations I had with my friends & faculty during

the case presentations, projects etc. Education at IMT

has given me a totally different perspective, which I

always value in both - personal & professional life.”

—Karthik Venkat, Team Lead (Online Sales), Google India Pvt.

Ltd

“The academics, the professors,

the friends, the fests, the intern-

ships, the study tour to Singa-

pore, the placement drives and

several of these events and

people at IMT are not only

etched in memory but have

also made a significant contri-

bution in helping me grow as a person and as a

professional. While being challenged by peers and

professors during case discussions and presentations

did bring the best out of me, more importantly it

helped me develop an appre-ciation for perspectives

that were different from mine – and I attribute a lot of

my success in the corporate world to this appreciation

and synthesis of different perspectives and ideas”.

—Anurag Sharma, Exec. Director, Crestcom International LLC

“IMT provides a great infra-

structure to sharpen your skills ,

with cutting edge curriculum

and fabulous faculty – IMT is a

great place to build your

foundation.”

—Tushar Sharma, General Manager

– India & South Asia, Abbott Vascular

"The PGDM Executive program

at IMT Ghaziabad was a natural

next step of my career progres-

sion. The value I got from the

program came from not only

the knowledge I received, but

the peer relationships that

created a competitive, suppor-

tive and energizing environment. The program

validated much of my past experience, while giving

me the skills to move to a management consulting

career and become more competitive in the job

market. I would not be in my current position without

having completed this program. The case study

method of teaching, highly knowledgeable faculties,

state of the art infrastructure & library and the vibrant

hostel life of IMT Ghaziabad altogether helped me to

connect the dots and transform myself into a complete

management professional."

—Mazhar Hossain, Sr. Consultant - Consulting/Advisory

division, Pricewaterhouse Coopers

orldwide , the trend in MBA/PGDM applications is from candidates with some work experience

Wunder their belt. Management institutes also prefer experience as an important “reality check“ for

students bedazzled by images of corporate jets and boardrooms.

Recruiters are wary of fresh MBA’s with work experience fearful that the candidate may come with a set mind ,

as well as habits and a work ethos into their organisation.

This is where premier institute like IMT Ghaziabad make the cut by leveraging experience but also exposing

students to multiple perspectives – including global ones – designed to retain grounding but also unfetter

imagination and openness to learning. This is the inspiration behind our choice of this year’s theme: Nurturing

Leadership.

We’d love to hear from you on this, email us your thoughts at [email protected].
