NAME YOUR UNIFORMAll items of clothing should be clearly marked with the student’s full name. The college does not accept responsibility for the loss of any item of uniform.

College UniformAt Trinity wearing our College uniform is compulsory for all students. We encourage our student community to wear their uniform with pride.

Summer - Term 1 & 4

SPORTS JACKET: Navy with red and white trim (5-10). The jacket may be worn with day uniform internally. Students must wear school pullover when representing the College at special occassions e.g. Eisteddfod and meeting dignitaries.

DRY & COZY JACKET/RAINCOAT: Navy waterproof jacket with polar fleecy lining (Prep-10).

SKI JACKET (Optional): Navy (7-10). The ski jacket is only ordered at the beginning of every year.

Shoes & SocksTrinity Lutheran College require the compulsory wearing of polishable, black lace-up, buckle or velcro leather shoes with no coloured markings or logos and sensible sized heel.

SUMMER BOYS SOCKS: Navy above ankle length (Prep-10).SUMMER GIRLS SOCKS: White above ankle length (Prep-10).

WINTER BOYS SOCKS: Navy above ankle length (Prep-10).WINTER GIRLS SOCK/STOCKINGS: Navy above ankle length or Navy opaque stockings (Prep-10).

CAP: (Optional for PE and competition sport only) Navy and white trim (5-10).

SPORTS UNIFORM SHOES & SOCKSSHOES: Supportive sneaker such as a running, court or cross-training shoe. No skate, canvas or volley style shoes.SOCKS: Plain white ankle socks with no logos or patterns.

The Athletes Foot located in Mildura Central Plaza support our college through the School Rewards Program. $5 from every pair of school shoes purchased is returned to our college through a donation by Athletes Foot of sporting equipment.

Examples of suitable sports shoes:

Personal GroomingHAIRHair must be neat and tidy. The college recognises that hairstyles are a matter of individual style and taste. Hair that is longer than shoulder length (girls and boys) must be pulled back. This requirement is both a general health issue and a safety issue for practical classes. Any ties, bands or ribbons must be black, neutral or the college colours. Hair should remain within the natural colour variation.

NAILSClear nail polish only is permitted. For safety, students must keep nails at a short length. No artifical nails.

MAKEUPMakeup is not acceptable. Students with a skin condition that require the application of certain face creams are to request permission from the Deputy Principal.

JEWELLERYStudents are able to wear a watch, plain cross necklace, one set of plain thin sleepers or small studs in earlobes only, one plain friendship ring and medical identification jewellery (if required).College Activities

Uniform ShopNoone Imagewear run the uniform shop on site at Trinity Lutheran College, 920 Fifteenth Street, Mildura.

HATSHats are compulsory for all year levels and are to be worn throughout the year as per UV based SunSmart guidelines. The cap may be worn during PE or when playing sport.

SUNGLASSESAppropriate sunglasses approved by the Cancer Council may be worn during recess and lunch breaks.

EXCURSIONSStudents on excursions must wear the college day uniform as appropriate for the time of year unless the event specifically requires other dress.

REPRESENTING THE COLLEGEStudents representing the college in community events or competitions must wear the college day uniform as appropriate for the time of year. The winter uniform is also classified as the formal uniform and students may be requested to wear this uniform on special occasions in terms 1 and 4. Student leaders will be provided with a fitted college blazer to wear on formal occasions. Boys will wear long trousers and tie when wearing the blazer.

SRC CASUAL DAYSWhen Casual for a Cause days are held by the SRC students must select items to wear that are SunSmart, modest and appropriate. Closed in shoes must be worn at all times.

Sports uniform is to be worn by students on the day they have PE.

Students representing the school at interschool sport must wear the college sport uniform or the interschool sports top provided by the college on the day.

Students are unable to mix college sport and formal uniforms.

TRANSITIONAL UNIFORM ITEMSCertain uniform items have transitional years as it is acknowledged that students grow at different rates. Some items may continue to be worn throughout the student’s college years even when other options become available. These are indicated on the uniform list.
