The weekly sale of Prime Lambs had a smaller entry forward this week, with just shy of 1500 being sold. A stronger sale average of 142ppk this week with an active ring of buyers keen to purchase.

Light weight continental lambs sold to 162ppk from W & J Penny of Marsh Grange Farm, with plenty of pens of medium weight lambs between 40kg and 43kg selling in excess of 150ppk.

Mule lambs sold to £65 for a heavy weight from TA & J Dixon of Kit Cragg.
