Who We Are

The NYOH Community Cancer Foundation (NYOHCCF) is a registered, not-for-profit charitable organization that accepts and distributes funds to help meet the essential needs of cancer patients and their loved ones.

The NYOHCCF was founded in 2000 by the physicians and staff of New York Oncology Hematology (NYOH) to help provide short-term financial assistance for patients undergoing cancer treatment. Such assistance may include transportation, household expenses, groceries, utilities and other necessities of daily living not covered by traditional insurance or through other charitable venues.

Our Mission

To improve the quality of life during treatment for cancer patients and their families, by providing emergency financial support to those in need of help with daily living expenses.

he NYOHCCF and the patients it serves have been blessed by the generous support of individuals, businesses and community-based fundraising efforts.

In some instances, the NYOHCCF has been the beneficiary of bequests, grants and memorial contributions. In others, the foundation has received gifts made in tribute to the physicians and staff at New York Oncology Hematology by grateful patients and their family members.

Among the NYOHCCF’s staunchest champions is the large and extended family of NYOH employees, patients, caregivers and friends that consistently finds innovative and inspiring ways of raising funds to benefit this worthy cause. From “Blue Jeans Fridays,” when each staff member pays to wear denim by donating $1 to the foundation, to a variety of community-sponsored walks, runs and specialty sales, it’s through the compassion and generosity of many individuals that our efforts are supported and rewarded.

tribute to those who are undergoing treatment or in salute to veteran survivors everywhere will benefit patients throughout the greater Capital Region.

Your tax deductible gift will help fund services to ease the burdens that patients and their families experience during cancer treatment. All donations remain within the Capital Region and 100% of all contributions directly support patient and family needs.
