New York Post, Tuesday, May 10, 2016 nypost.com 34 _ TAURUS (April 21-May 21) You will have to deal with a challenging situation today but with Venus, your ruler, and Jupiter, planet of good fortune, on ideal terms at the moment it won't cause you a moment's bother. Others will marvel at how well you handle yourself. ` GEMINI (May 22-June 21) Your fate is in someone else's hands at the moment but there is no reason to worry about it. Some people enjoy being generous and one such person will go out of their way to smooth your path through life and make you smile. Lucky you. a CANCER (June 22-July 23) You are in an amazingly laid-back mood at the moment and no matter what might go wrong over the next 24 hours you won't let it get to you. The bigger the challenge the more you will like it as it gives you the chance to show off! b LEO (July 24-Aug. 23) You will get more out of life if you treat it as less of a battle. Fortunately, with Venus, planet of harmony, moving through the area of your chart that influences your reputation you will come across as more of a pussycat than a lion. c VIRGO (Aug. 24-Sept. 23) This isn't a good day for routine matters, especially if you are the kind of Virgo who is easily distracted. There are far too many things going on in your world for you to be able to concentrate on boring stuff, so think big, and act big too. d LIBRA (Sept. 24-Oct. 23) Just because others try to find fault with every little thing you do does not mean you have to take any of it seriously. In fact, the more they criticize your efforts the more determined you should be to carry on as before. Don't be intimidated. e SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 22) Venus in the partnership area of your chart means you can expect some warmer-than-usual responses from loved ones over the next 24 hours. Don't be suspicious if someone you fell out with wants to kiss and make up. Yes, they do mean it! f SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21) It does not matter how tough you think you are, the simple fact is if you carry on at your current pace you will burn out before the end of the week. Decide what is important to you today and focus on that and that alone. g CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20) Venus and Jupiter are beautifully linked across the two most dynamic areas of your chart today, so wherever you go and whatever you do life will be fun. If you turn on the charm you will get anything - yes anything - your heart desires. h AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19) There are some people you will never agree with - you are just too different in your outlook. But that does not mean you cannot be nice to them when your paths cross, as they will today. Ideas and beliefs don't have to harm human relationships. i PISCES (Feb. 20-Mar. 20) If your inner voice tells you to go out and enjoy yourself then that is exactly what you must do. It's not a request, it's an order, one that comes from the deepest, truest part of your nature. Listen to the real you - it knows what you want. ^ ARIES (March 21-April 20) You will learn something to your advantage today, something that could boost your earning power. Others may say it is wrong to take advantage of information that was not meant for you but they would do the same if they were in your place. BIRTHDAY TUESDAY Before making plans for the coming year you must look back over the past 12 months and see if you reached the targets you set yourself. If you did, fine, carry on. Just five weeks ago, the BigEast was on top of the college basketball world again following Villanova’s upset of North Carolina in Houston. This weekin Chicago could determine if the new league will have another March breakthrough or take a step back in the fourth season since it was reconfigured amid nationwide realignment.

That’s because the NBADraft Combine will beginWednesday, and for the firsttime it will include prospectswho could return to schoolunder new rules that allowthem until 10 days after thecombine ends to pull out ofthe draft. In the past the cutoffdate was late April. The BigEast will be front and center, with what would arguably bethe league’s three best playersnext year — Seton Hall’s Isaiah Whitehead, Villanova’sJosh Hart and Providence’sBen Bentil — competing to seewhere they stand in this year’sdraft class.

“There’s no doubt there’s alot hanging in the balance for

the Big East,”CBS Sports college basketballanalyst JonRothstein saidin a phone interview. “Out ofthose threeplayers, I thinkall three arepretty much upin the air.”

The decisionsof the three underclassmen, all first team AllBigEast selections who played in the NCAA Tournament and are considered borderline firstround picks, could have seismic implications for the league.

If the wellrounded Hart returns, Villanova would be considered a legitimate contender to repeat as national champions, Rothstein believes. Seton Hall would likely be ranked in the top 15 with Whitehead, who some felt should’ve beaten out Providence’s Kris Dunn for Big East Player of the Year and led the Pirates to their first Big East

Tournamentcrown since 1993.And Providence, despite losingDunn, could remain in the tophalf of the conference with themultiskilled 6foot9 Bentil, who was arguably its bestplayer a seasonago, averaging aBig Eastleading21.1 points pergame.

The new rulesput coaches in aprecarious position, waiting until the end of

May to know their full rosters. It makes it difficult to recruit toreplace a major player in limbo, because of the unknown.

“You’re in a tough situation, but at the same time, our goalis to make sure these kidsleave us and they’re successful,” Seton Hall coach KevinWillard said. “I’m going outthere to support Isaiah andhope he plays his best.”
