WHO CAN COMPETE IN WBFF EVENTS?

Any individuals at any level are invited to compete in our events. From amateur to Pro level.

Any questions you have pertaining to your competition prep will be provided to you. Just email

us with any inquiries [email protected]

Amateur Competitors - Yes, the WBFF allows any of its members to compete in any event they

choose as an amateur competitor. As an amateur competitor you cannot be suspended from

competing with multiple organizations.

WBFF Pro Athletes - WBFF Pro athletes are exclusive to the WBFF upon choice of the

individual. We hold our Pro Status with high regard.

CAN YOU COMPETE IN THE OCTOBER PRO/AM IF YOU’RE NOT A PRO?

The WBFF Australia PRO/AM is open to both amateur and pro competitors. We have all the

amateur categories that we have at our regular shows (excluding Transformation which is

exclusive to Sydney show). We also have the addition of the professional categories. Anyone

who holds a pro status prior to registering for the PRO/AM can compete in the professional

categories.

DO YOU HAVE TO DO THE MAY SHOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE OCTOBER SHOW?

There is no need to qualify for any of the shows in Australia. Each show is open to all amateurs

regardless of whether you have competed before or not.

To compete at the Pro/AM in the professional categories, you must hold pro status at the time

of registering for the pro categories.

IF I WIN AN AMATEUR CATEGORY, WILL I OBTAIN “PRO STATUS”?

A competitor who competes in our show may be awarded their WBFF Pro Card at the judge’s

discretion, if they display the qualities of a WBFF Pro. Winning your division does not

automatically guarantee a Pro Card.

I WOULD LIKE TO COMPETE IN MORE THAN ONE CATEGORY. WILL I HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO

DO BOTH?

Yes contestants can do crossovers. Please email us if you have any queries at

[email protected]

W O R L D B E A U T Y , F I T N E S S & F A S H I O N I N C .

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Our shows are prestigious red carpet events. In keeping with the WBFF brand and standards,

all competitors must be dressed smartly at registration/competitor meeting and in the front of

the venue and auditorium. No thongs, track pants, singlets etc are permitted to be worn

(except for when you are in the backstage area only).

CAN I BRING MY PARTNER/FRIEND TO REGISTRATION NIGHT?

Yes, please bring your partner/friend along with you and be sure to get your photo taken with

them at the red carpet media wall. Photos will be published in WBFF Australia’s online

magazine Inspire Mag online www.inspiremag.com.au and on WBFF Australia’s social media

pages.

ARE THERE ANY BACKSTAGE RULES?

No alcohol is permitted at any WBFF event. This is not the image we want to portray. No

alcohol is allowed backstage at any WBFF event. Competitors caught with alcohol will be

disqualified.

All competitors are responsible for their personal belongings. Please be selective in regards to

what you bring to a show. The WBFF or venues will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Due to the large number of competitors at WBFF shows, there is limited space backstage. We

provide helpers for competitors backstage, therefore no trainers, friends, family members or

assistants are allowed in the backstage area. WBFF shows run professionally, and therefore

need everything to work efficiently backstage.

Please have everything prepared before you arrive.

All competitors are expected to respect their fellow competitors. We want to create a positive

atmosphere backstage where everyone can feel comfortable and at ease.

The WBFF will not tolerate inexcusable behaviour backstage. Please help out one another to

make the whole event a positive and memorable event for all.
