“El que quiera ser el pri-mero que sea el ultimo de todos y el servidor de todos” La Palabra del Señor es viva y eficaz. Cada Do-mingo que nos acercamos

al banquete de la Eucaristía: Jesús nos habla atraves del Evangelio y nos enseña que debemos ir haciendo cada día con nuestra vida. Jesús va iluminando nuestro pensamiento, acciones y vida. De lo contrario, nuestra vida va ser dirigida por lo que quiere el mundo: poder, honor, y gloria. La tentación es que queremos seguir a Jesús y a la misma vez hacer las cosas del mundo.

La manera de vivir del mundo es promover las posiciones. Si tenemos una posición alta; somos alguien en el mundo. Si no tenemos una posición; no somos nada para el mundo. Por esa razón, la tentación del ser humano tiene a buscar las mejores posiciones. El Evangelio de hoy podernos ver como los hijos de Zebedeo: Juan y Santiago le preguntan a Jesús “Maestro, queremos que nos concedas lo que vamos a pedirte: Concede que nos sentemos uno a tu derecha y otro a tu izquierda, cuando estés en tu gloria”. Pareciera fácil obtener el primer lugar junto a Jesús. Queremos alcanzar el primer lugar sin merecer el lugar. Muchas veces nos olvidamos que hay un camino y un proceso para que Jesús nos dé el lugar que merezcamos. El papa Francisco en una de sus homilías dijo: “Esta ansiedad de mundanidad, esta ansiedad de ser más importante que los demás y decir: "¡No! Yo merezco esto, no lo merece el otro". Ésta es la mundanidad, éste es el espíritu del mundo y quien respira este espíritu, respira la enemistad de Dios. Jesús, en otro pasaje, dice a los discípulos: "O estáis conmigo o estáis contra mí. No hay compromisos en el Evangelio. Y cuando uno quiere vivir el Evangelio haciendo compromisos, al final se encuentra con el espíritu mundano, que siempre trata de hacer compromisos para trepar más, para dominar, para ser más grande”. Verdaderamente que no es el deseo de servir a los demás. Es más bien el deseo de mandar, dominar y de someter a los demás. El deseo de obtener una mejor posición donde otros puedan servir me.

Jesús nos invita a servir a nuestros hermanos y hermanas. Servir es estar atento a las necesidades de los demás. Jesús es el gran modelo de servicio para los demás. Jesús se ha entregado totalmente a tocar las heridas de los enfermos, sanar, alimentar y restaurar los corazones destruidos. Jesús vino a servir a todos sin distinción de raza y lenguaje. En el Evangelio, los otros diez discípulos se

indignaron que Santiago y Juan querían los mejores lugares. Jesús les dice a sus discípulos el que quiera ser el grande que sea el servidor de todos. Hermanos y hermanas, Jesús nos exhorta a cada uno de nosotros como bautizados a ser servidores. Si abrazamos más el mandamiento del amor y empezaremos a servir a los demás. No nos preocuparemos de buscar una posición de entre los demás. Sino más bien buscaremos llegar al corazón de todos y a las heridas y necesidades. Buscaremos que ellos superen las dificultades y enfermedades con la Palabra del Señor. Entregaremos nuestro tiempo para animar, aconsejar y atraerlos más a Jesús. El gran desafío de nuestro tiempo es la inclinación a ser servido. Algunas veces el esposo no quiere servir a sus hijos o su esposa. Algunas veces quiere que sus hijos le sirvan o la esposa. O los hijos esperan que los papas les sirvan siempre. Que maravilloso fuera si todos sirvieran: esposa, esposo, e hijos. Hubiera mayor alegría, paz y amor porque unos se preocuparan de la necesidad del otro ser humano.

Hermanos y hermanas, Jesús nos invita a servir con amor y alegría a los demás. No dejemos que la pereza, el poder, el orgullo nos quite el don de servir a los demás. Necesitamos ser más sensible a las necesidades de los demás. Si buscamos los primeros lugares que sea siempre para servir y ayudar a los demás. Que no sea para oprimir los derechos de los demás y obtener mayores beneficios personales. Que cada uno de nosotros sigamos el verdadero ejemplo de servicio de Jesús. El no tuvo distinción para servir. Estamos dispuesto nosotros a servir a los demás? ¿Quiero ser servidor? Inténtalo y sanaras el corazón triste del hermano necesitado del amor de Dios.

THE HUMANITY OF JESUS CHRIST All three readings today support—each in its own way, of course—a reflection on the humanity of Jesus Christ and how that humanity played a key role in the drama of our salvation. Although not chosen specifically to coordinate with the other two readings, today’s second reading does in fact carry forward the theme of Christ’s humanity in a remarkable way. The author of the Letter to the Hebrews highlights the solidarity that exists between Jesus and us, precisely because in his human nature Jesus has known the same sufferings and testing that are our own experience. Because he can “sympathize with our weaknesses,” we can “approach the throne of grace to receive mercy.” For the author of Hebrews, the humanity of Jesus was an essential requirement for his redemptive death, as well as an invitation to us to find in Jesus someone with whom we can identify in our daily struggles. LA HUMANIDAD DE JESUCRISTO Las tres lecturas de hoy apoyan –cada una a su manera, por supuesto– una reflexión sobre la humanidad de Jesucristo y la forma en que la humanidad tuvo un papel clave en el drama de nuestra salvación. Aunque no fue seleccionada específicamente para coordinar con las otras dos lecturas, la segunda lectura de hoy, de hecho, continúa el tema de la humanidad de Cristo de una manera notable. "Whoever wants to be the first, He must the last of all and the serv-ant of all" Every Sunday we come to the feast of the Eucha-rist through whom Jesus

speaks to us in the Gospel and he teaches us what we should do with our lives every day. Jesus comes to illumine our thoughts, actions and life. Otherwise, our life is going to be guided as what the world wants: power, honor, and glory. The temptation is we want to follow Jesus and at the same time do the worldly things.

The World way of living is the promotion of positions. If we have a high position we are someone to the world. If we do not have any position we are no one for the world. Therefore, The temptation of the human being tends to get higher positions. Today's Gospel presents us the sons of Zebedeo: John and James who ask Jesus “Master, we want you to grant us what we are going to ask you: Grant that we sit one on your right and one on your left, when you are in your glory". It seems easy to get the first place next to Jesus. We want to reach the first place without deserving the place. Many times, we forget that there is a way and a process for Jesus to give us the place we deserve. Pope Francis said: "This anxiety of worldliness, this anxiety of being more important than others and saying:" No! I deserve this, the other does not deserve it. " This is worldliness, this is the spirit of the world, and whoever breathes this spirit breathes the enmity of God. Jesus, in another passage, says to the disciples: "Either you are with me or you are against me. There are no commitments in the Gospel. And when one wants to live the Gospel by making commitments, in the end he meets the worldly spirit, which always tries to make commitments to climb higher, to dominate, to be greater”. Truly, it is not the desire to serve others. It is rather the desire to command, dominate and subdue others. It is the desire to obtain a better position where others can serve me.

Jesus invites us to serve our brothers and sisters. Serve is being attentive to the needs of others. Jesus is the great model of service for others. Jesus has given himself totally to touch the wounds of the sick, heal, feed and restore the destroyed hearts. Jesus came to serve all without distinction of race and language. In the Gospel, the other ten disciples were outraged that James and John wanted the best places. Jesus

tells his disciples whoever wants to be the greatest one he needs to be the servant of all. My brothers and sisters, Jesus exhorts each of us to be servants. If we embrace more the commandment of love, we will begin to serve others. We will not worry about looking for a position among the others. But rather we will seek to reach the hearts of all the wounded and needed. We will help them to overcome their difficulties and illnesses with words of consolation and hope. We will give our time to encourage, advise and draw them more to Jesus. A great challenge of our time is the inclination to be served. For example, sometimes the husband does not want to serve his children or his wife. He wants his children to serve him or his wife. Or the children want to serve by their parents. How wonderful it would be if everyone serves: wife, husband, and children. There will be greater joy, peace and love because all will be concerned about the need of the other human being. My brothers and sisters, Jesus invites us to serve others with love and joy. Let's not let laziness, power, and pride take away the gift of serving others. We need to be more sensitive to the needs of others. If we seek the first places, it must be to serve and help others. Not to oppress the rights of others and obtain greater personal benefits. May each of us follow the true example of Jesus' service. He had no distinction to serve. He served all. Are we willing to serve others? Do we want to be a server? Try it now and you will experience the power of Jesus healing the brokenhearted. Come to serve and not be served.

FEAST OF FAITH Only Say the Word

The bread is broken, the banquet is prepared, and now we are invited to the feast. Once more the priest holds the host, now

broken, for us to see, and invites us to behold the one “who takes away the sins of the world.” Truly blessed and happy are those

invited to this meal, which is a foretaste of the heavenly banquet, the supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19:19). We respond to this

who comes to us can heal us, body and soul. This prayer echoes the story of the centurion in Luke’s Gospel. The centurion, a Gentile, asks healing for his servant, but does not consider

himself worthy to have Jesus come under his roof—he believes that Jesus can heal his servant with a word, without even seeing

him. Jesus is amazed at his faith. It is the same for us. We believe that Jesus speaks to us, comes to us, dwells with us, even

ORACIÓN PARA PEDIR PROTECCIÓN EN ESTE TIEMPO DE PANDEMIA

Oración del Papa Francisco a la Virgen María pidiendo protección

Oh María,

tú resplandeces siempre en nuestro camino como signo de salvación y de esperanza. Nosotros nos confiamos a ti, Salud de

los enfermos, que al pie de la cruz te asociaste al dolor de Jesús, manteniendo firme tu fe. Oh Madre amorosa,

tú sabes lo que necesitamos y estamos seguros de que proveerás, como lo hiciste en Caná de Galilea.

Intercede por nosotros ante tu Hijo Jesús, el Divino Médico, por aquellos que han enfermado, por quienes son más

vulnerables y por quienes han muerto. Intercede también por quienes cargan la responsabilidad de proteger la salud

y seguridad de los demás y por quienes atienden al enfermo y buscan una cura. Ayúdanos, Madre del Divino Amor,

a conformarnos a la voluntad del Padre y a hacer lo que nos dirá Jesús, quien ha tomado sobre sí nuestros

sufrimientos y ha cargado con nuestros dolores para conducirnos, a través de la Cruz, a la alegría de la Resurrección.

Amén. Bajo tu amparo nos acogemos, santa Madre de

Dios; no desprecies las súplicas que te dirigimos en nuestras necesidades, antes bien líbranos de todo

peligro ¡Oh Virgen gloriosa y bendita! Amén.

FIESTA DE LA FE Comunión: dar y recibir

La celebración eucarística es la oración por excelencia de toda la Iglesia; la plenitud de esta celebración es la comunión. Aunque

comulgamos personalmente, es una acción totalmente comunitaria. No comulgamos como individuos sino como un

solo cuerpo místico de Cristo que somos. Cristo mismo partió su cuerpo y nos lo dio; durante su ministerio público, pidió a sus

apóstoles que repartieran el pan a la gente. La comunión se nos da porque en sí es un don y regalo de Dios. Si tomamos

directamente la comunión empobrece el significado porque no es un autoservicio o algo que simplemente podemos agarrar. Al comulgar lo que somos, dice san Agustín, estamos llamados a ser lo que comemos. La Eucaristía, como sacramento, es un

regalo absoluto de Dios, es un estilo de vida, una espiritualidad a vivir, nunca una conquista propia. La Eucaristía, nos lo recuerda

Juan Pablo II, “crea comunión y educa a la comunión”. En comunión no sólo se recibe el don, sino que la persona comu

lgante, se da a sí misma, a lo que comulga y a la asamblea con quien comulga y vive esa comunión.

Jesus Sacramentado 24 horas cada primer viernes del mes se expondrá el Santisimo por 24

horas. Iniciando a las 9:00am el viernes a 9:00am del Sábado

Es una oportunidad mas para encontrarnos con Jesús Eucaristía.

Es un momento de construir una relación más intima con Jesús para hablar,

conversar y escuchar a Jesús. Es una oportunidad para

encontrarnos con el Rey de Reyes. Desde ya los invito a que vayan

preparándose para hacer un espacio en su agenda o calendario. Todos

necesitamos a Jesús. Todos los días nos enfrentamos a muchas dificultades y no

podemos solos. Jesús es el único que nos puede ayudar a vencer la triste, enojo, odio, rencor, depresión, decepción y muchas otras cosas que no nos dejan

experimentar la paz, la alegría y el amor de Dios. Hermano/a, si un minuto tienes para el Señor y te acercas a el con fe, el

te llenara de gracias. Si tienes mas tiempo, aprovecha esa oportunidad de

acompañar a Jesús.

Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for 24 hours. Starting at 9:00am on Friday to

9:00am on Saturday It is one more opportunity to meet Jesus the Eucharist. It is a time to build a more intimate relationship with Jesus to speak,

converse and listen to Jesus. It is an opportunity to meet the King of Kings.

From now on I invite you to get ready to make a space in your agenda or calendar.

We all need Jesus. Every day we face many difficulties and we cannot do it

alone. Jesus is the only one who can help us overcome sadness, anger, hatred,

resentment, depression, disappointment and many other things that prevent us from experiencing the peace, joy and love of God. Brother and sister, if you

have a minute for the Lord and you approach him with faith, he will fill you with thanks. If you have more time, take

advantage of this opportunity to accompany Jesus.
