the people were contracting sicknesses and most were dying because of them. There were very few who survived in our section of the story and were well enough to take care of the sick and dying. The people were sick, hungry, and they just wanted to get better…

The section “The Starving Time” in the story Of Plymouth Plantation focuses mainly on when the people were going through a bad time. They were contracting sicknesses and having trouble staying healthy. Many were dying, but there was about six or seven who were fine and took care of the sick.
