EQMS is designed to make available a comprehensive, WEB-Based,

Quality Management System that provides electronica portfolios and

academic assessment for all colleges and programs. It is available any

time anywhere for all users who have an internet connection. It

computerizes the self-evaluation process.

The EQMS allows generating reports and statistics that can be used to

improve the quality of NCAAA standards implementation.

The EQMS contains dashboard which is a monitoring interface that

gives the colleges an overview of the self-evaluation process status. It

has multiple indicators to different things such as how many standards

the college has used for self-evaluation process, results and rating of

self-evaluation scales overall.

Steps To Use The EQMS Application

1. Go to browser (internet explorer, Google chrome etc.) and in address bar write

http://qms.jazanu.edu.sa/eqms as shown in Figure 1.

2. After writing in address bar press Enter and you will be redirected to EQMS home page as

shown in Figure 2.

3. Type your “Username” and “Password” in the member login area and click on Login Button as

shown in Figure 3 below.

4. After clicking on Login button you will be redirected to the Institution Home Page as shown in

Figure 4

5. This Institution Home page has dashboard which is monitoring interface that gives the

Institution an overview of the self-evaluation process status. It has multiple indicators to

different things such as how many standards the Institution has used for self-evaluation process,

results and rating of self-evaluation scales overall as shown in Figure 5

6. In the Institution home page there are some links on left side as shown in Figure 6

Standard Evaluvation 7. Click on “Standard Evaluation” link as shown in Figure 7

8. It will redirect you to the Self-evaluation page as shown in Figure 8

9. In Figure 8 there are some fields like Year, Institution Name, Standard Name and Substandard

Name. To do the self-Evaluation of a Particular Standard you have to select the Standard Name

and the Substandard Name as shown in Figure 9 , Figure10 and Figure 11

10. After selecting substandard Name this list of items will appear as shown in Figure 12.

11. In Figure 13 you will see table with headings like (Item Number, Item Name, Is YES/NO/NA,

Methods and approaches, Upload Evidence, Rating, Remarks and Save/Update)

Item Number:- it shows the standard number ,substandard number and the sub

substandard number.(e.g. (1.1.1) First 1 means standard number 1,second 1 means

substandard number 1 of standard number 1 and third 1 means item number 1 of

substandard number 1)

Item Name: - it shows the item name.

IS YES/NO/NA: - This means whether the item is applicable or non-applicable to you.

Methods and approaches:-

Upload Evidence:- This is used to upload or view the Evidence.

Rating: - This is used for rating the each item based on evidences.

Remarks:- If you have any remarks related to item.

Save/Update:- It is used for saving and updating the data.

12. To evaluate an item if it is applicable is shown in Figure 14. Enter some text in methods and

approaches, rate the item, add some remarks and then click on Floppy image to save the data.

When you click on floppy image the data will be saved and the row will be disabled and

the floppy icon will change to . As shown in Figure 15 below.

Do the same thing for other items.



Upload Document

13. If you want to upload the evidence click on upload button image as shown in Figure 16

After clicking on upload image button a popup window will open as shown in Figure 17

14. Put some information in the popup window and Click on Browse button as shown in Figure 18

When you click on browse button another window will appear, choose a file to upload and click

on open button as shown in Figure 19

After clicking on open button then click on save button as shown in Figure 20

When you click on Save button a message will appear “Record inserted successfully” as shown in

Figure 21 . click on OK button to close the message.

If you want to upload the another file repeat step 14 else click on cancel button to close the

15. After closing the popup window then click on Floppy Image to save the record as shown

in Figure 23

Editing The Record

16. If you want to edit the particular record click on as shown in Figure 24

The record will enabled and the image icon will change in to the Floppy Image as

Benchmark, Actual Benchmark, internal Benchmark, External Benchmark, Analysis and New
