Inthenextmonth,TEAMConstruc4onwillcomparethefinalbuildingplanstothesetofplansdevelopedfortheircontract.Wehavemadeanumberofchangesandwiththosechangeswewillhavetoadjustthebudget.Wearehopefultohaveanupdatedbudgetinthenextmonth.
Wearecurrentlyworkingonsomefinaldesignelements.Theyincludethepoolfinaldesign,thenewlandscapingscope,FFE(furniture,fixturesandequipment),andlowvoltage(accesscontrol,securitycameras,andspeakersystems).Atthesame4me,wehavebeenworkingtoobtainthebuildingpermit.Wearehopefultohavethebuildingpermitbythe4methisispublishedorveryshortlyaWer.Makingthesefinaldesignchoicesalongwithgeingthebuildingpermitwillkeepusonscheduleforacomple4ondateinearly2017.
ThepooldesignhasnotbeenapprovedbyOakHillsatthismoment.Wehavewantedtoconfirmsomedetailsbeforeapproving,asthepoolisseenasthemostimportantfeatureoftheproject.Oncewehaveapprovedthedesign,wewillbeabletopublishthedesigndrawingsforthecommunity.Theshapeofthepoolshasbeenapproved;thelastelementsweareworkingonincludethecontouroftheboQomofthepoolandsomemeasurementconfirma4ons.
Withourincreasedlandscapescope,wearegoingtostudytwoplans.Onewouldhavethesandpitareareplacedwithapavedplayareaandtheoldbasketballareawouldbecomeanoverflowpicnicarea.Theotherop4onwouldhavethesandpitareabecomethenewswingsetareaandtheoldbasketballareamadeintoapavedplayarea(whichwilllikelybeabasketballcourtwithtwohoopswithsomeareasnexttothecourtfeaturingaddi4onalgames).Wewillstudycostofbothop4onsaswellaslookingathowthedesignfitsintohowtheareaisplannedtobeused.

SecurityCameras:DiscussionfollowedrelevanttoinstallingsecuritycamerasanddooralarmsonthenewRecCenter.Currentlybudgetedfor$20,500,thecurrentbidfromCapitolElectricisaround$28,000andwouldinstallasystemthatcanonlybeselfmonitored.ProposalfromADTtoinstallequipmentatadiscountof50%withathree-yearmonitoringcontractof~$40/month.
ConcreteWork:Notallnearbysidewalksareincludedintheproject,soBoydwillhaveaddi4onaloutsidevendorspricetheworkforcomparisontotheTeamproposal.
EnergyTrust:Tworebateshavebeenreceivedandappliedtotheappropriateaccounts.Onerebatewasfor$2000tomeetwithEnergyTrust,theotherwasarefundofsolarstudy.
Engineers:Boydannouncedthathehasmadeaswitchingeotechengineervendors.HeisalsolookingatCarltonTes4ngtodotheinspec4onsduringtheproject.
SidewalkonOakmontLoop:ThesidewalkonthesouthsideoftheRecCenteralongOakHillsDrivewillsoonbeblockedforconstruc4on.ThedetourwillproceedalongOakmonttothegreenspacepathwayattheeastendofthetenniscourts.Brewersuggestssignageatthetopofthetrailsopeopledon'thavetobacktrackduetoblockedpassagethroughtheconstruc4onsite.
UsingReserveMoneytofundtheBondRequirement:MeyeropenedadiscussiontoallowtheuseofreservemoneytofundthebondsrequiredbyCleanWater.Meyerdescribeditasborrowingthemoneyfromourselvesandpayingitbackattheendoftheproject.AGREED:DavidBoydmovedtoborrowfromOHHAReservestheCleanWaterbondmoneytotaling$40,715.00:thefeeswillbereimbursedwithineighteenmonthsuponsaSsfactorycompleSonoftheproject.SaraBournesecondedthemoSon,whichcarriedwithoutobjecSon.

RECREATIONTennisCamp:FiWeenpar4cipantshavesignedupforthefirsttenniscampinJuly,butonlytwopeoplearesignedupfortheAugustcamp.
ARCHITECTURALREVIEWBOARDTherehavebeenelevenapprovalssincethelastmee4ng,fiveforpain4ng,twofences,threefordecks,windows,orretainingwalls,andoneminoraltera4on.Threeapplica4onsares4llunderthereviewprocess,andfourapplica4onsarepending.
