FOR OPENERS: Was recalled from Triple-A Nashville today for his fourth stint with the A’s this year…will be making his seventh start, which is a new career high, surpassing his six with San Francisco in 2011…was called up the first time April 8 and went 0-2 with a 5.59 ERA in four starts before he was optioned April 25…made just one start in each of his next two stints (May 11-16 and May 31-June 1) and is 0-3 with a 6.41 ERA overall…the ERA is sixth highest in the American League among pitchers with 25 or more innings pitched…the three-game losing streak matches his career high (Sept. 24, 2011-July 23, 2013).

2015 RECAP: Began the season at Triple-A Charlotte in the Chicago White Sox organization and finished it with Triple-A Oklahoma City in the Los Angeles Dodgers farm system…in between, he made one appearance for the Dodgers in July…was selected July 6, pitched that day against Philadelphia (3.1 ip, 4 h, 4 r, 4 er, 1 bb, 4 so), and was designated for as-signment the next day.
