World Malaria Day has been observed on 25th April, 2015 in West Bengal.
Theme: Invest in the Future, Defeat Malaria
Malaria Hok Parajito,
Bhobisyot Hok Surokkhito.
State Level: A sensitization Workshop towards the effective Prevention and Awareness for Malaria” was held at Swasthya Bhavan, Kolkata. Three Flex Banners were displayed in the entrance of State H.Q.

1st prize in painting competition
Rhyme and Painting competitions were held at State H.Q. on theme of prevention from Vector Borne Diseases. The Prize distribution was done on World Malaria Day, 2014 by Director of Health Services himself. Staff from Public Health and other branches like TB, IEC, Health Administration, Accounts etc became the proud winners of those two competitions organised by State Malaria Branch.
