“To Seneca Students and their families the OCAA Championship is the sports tournament
that is fun and unforgettable because it offers a variety of interactive experiences while
supporting a charitable cause”
How are we creating this unforgettable event?
We are working with the Jays Care Foundation they will be providing us with quality
prizing for our raffle draw
We will be holding a raffle and 50.50 that allows for fans to contribute to the Jays
Care Foundation and win some great prizes
We will be holding a bake sale and providing fans with great homemade cupcakes
that they will be able to decorate themselves. All of this money will also go
towards Jays Care
We are creating quality posters and advertising leading up to the event
We have created an original and unforgettable game that will take place between
the 4th
and 5th
inning that allows for the audience to interact

The fun ------------------
Face Painting:
2 volunteers will be the designated face painters located at a table with the colours
of the participating schools and fans will be able to get their faces painted
Face paint table will be located on the field near the bleachers
Raffle Draw:
Tickets: 1 for $2, 3 for $5 or an arm's length for $10
Prize table will be set up by the entrance and managed by 1 or 2 people
Winning ticket numbers will be announced between the third and fourth inning
If a winner does not come to claim their prize another winner will be announced
after the “Run to Home” event during the fourth and fifth inning
Winners will come to the raffle table to claim their prize
Prizes include
o Argo tickets
o Golf balls
o Jays swag
50/50:
Tickets will be 1 for $2, 3 for $5 or an arm's length for $10
1 volunteer will walk around selling tickets as well as tickets will be available at
the raffle and 50/50 table
The pot will start at least $50
Winning ticket will be announced between the fifth and sixth inning
Run to Home Game:
2 participants will be chosen by volunteers to participate in the game during the
first 3 innings
Volunteers will help the 2 participants get dressed in back catchers gear before the
fourth inning finishes
After the fourth inning finishes, volunteers and participants will run onto the field
Both participants will start at home plate and run opposite ways through the bases
dressed in the equipment
The first base they come to they will do five jumping jacks, then run to the next
base and do the chicken dance three times, run to the final base and spin their
forehead on a bat three times, run to home plate to complete the race
The winner will be given a prize and the second place participant will be
given a consultation prize
Cupcake Sale:
A Table will be set up by the entrance along with the raffle and 50/50 table
Bowls will be placed on the table with sprinkles of the school colours
Cup cakes will be $0.75 each or 2 for $1
The Cupcake table will be managed by 2 people

Before the Game:
Welcome to the Gold Medal game of the 2012 OCAA Women’s Fastball
Championship featuring (team a) and (team b). Throughout the first 5 innings there will
be volunteers circulating with 50/50 tickets, so make sure you grab one and support the
Jays Care Foundation. There will also be a “Run for Home” game taking place out on the
diamond during the 4th
inning stretch, we need to outgoing volunteers, so if you are
interested in participating please see one of the volunteers.
After 1st inning:
Just a reminder to get your 50/50 and raffle tickets, winners will be drawn after
the 5th i
nning. The 50/50 pot is at $-----. There is a bake sale going on where you can
decorate your own cupcakes and we have some lovely volunteers who are doing some
face painting for all of you who want to show some support for your school. All proceeds
collected today will be going to The Jays Care Foundation.
After 2nd
inning:
50/50 and raffle winners will be drawn at the end of the 5th inning so don’t forget
to pick some up. The 50/50 pot is at $-----. We are still looking for a coupe volunteers for
the “Run for Home” game - there will be prizes for the winner!
After 3rd
inning:
Okay folks, we are drawing the raffle winners now, so get your tickets ready. The

inning
Okay guys, its time for our “Run for Home” 4th
inning stretch game. We have 2
lovely volunteers dressed and ready to go up here. On our left we have (name) from
(school) and over here we have (name) from (School). Today they will be racing around
the bases in their back-catcher outfits, completing tasks at each base. The first person to
home plate is our winner! Now, we need you guys to be as loud as possible so we can get
these guys excited and ready to go. Cheer as loud as you can and support your school
guys!
(After game) Alright guys, we have our winner here (name) from (School),
Today (name) will be taking home a Seneca Swag bag. Give her one last round of
applause for supporting (school) today! The 50/50 pot is at $-----.
After 5th
inning:
Alright guys, I hope you all had a chance to pick up your 50/50 tickets. The total
pot today is ($$) and as you guys know, half of that money will be going to The Jays

MySeneca Story:
On October 20th
Seneca is proud to present the Gold medal game of the OCAA
Women’s Fastball Championships. The students of the Event Marketing Management
program will be organizing food and entertainment for the game. There will be a bake
sale, a raffle, a 50/50 draw, face painting, and award for fan of the game and a 4th
inning
stretch spectator competition. All proceeds raised will be donated to the Jays Care
Foundation. Seneca students are free to attend! Come support Seneca and a good cause.

We will be raising money for the Jays Care foundation because we believe its goals align
those of involving students in college sports. We will be hosting a Bake sale as well as a
Raffle and a 50/50 draw and all proceeds collected will be donated to Jays Care
Foundation. We have arranged with our contact to have Raffle prizing provided by The
Jays Care Foundation.
