OcchioServal,sievecertificationsystemOcchio Serval is a fully automated instrument used for calibrating laboratory test sieves to ASTM and ISO Standards.
PrincipleBased on image analysis measurement techniques, Occhio Serval provides an entire scan of the sieves surface by a full computer controlled standard operating procedure. A fast high resolution camera, combined with a telecentric lens and collimated backlight, acquires images during the rotation and translation of the sieve. The software computes in real‐time, the size of sieve apertures, and the thickness of the mesh wire. At the end of the test a report is printed, or stored on the computer.
