BSc and MSc (pre-registration) Occupational Therapy programmes
• Confer eligibility to register with the Health and Care Professions Council and practice as an occupational therapist in the UK
• Accredited by College of Occupational Therapists and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists
• Include 28 weeks of placement experience across a range of practice settings (health, social care, voluntary sector)

BSc Entry Requirements – standard entry
•3 A levels BBB including at least one human science subject i.e. human biology, biology, psychology, sociology
•5 GCSEs, grade C or above including English Language and Maths
•or a recognised equivalent qualification
BSc Entry Requirements: non-standard entry
• BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma DDD in a health-related subject
• Access to Higher Education Diploma (45 level 3 & 15 credits at level 2) in a related subject. Pass with merit in all units
• Minimum of two GCSEs (or recognised equivalent) at grade C or above. Must include GCSE English language and Maths
MSc (pre-registration) Occupational Therapy
• A UK 1st class or 2:1 Honours degree or equivalent internationally recognised qualification - any discipline
• A science profile • Health and social care experience relevant to OT• Evidence of informed insight into the profession of
occupational therapy• Evidence of academic achievement in the last five
years will be required

Tips for your Application
• Research /read about occupational therapy • Understand role, how it differs from other
professions• Organise work experience• Cultivate interpersonal skills e.g. through
voluntary work & meet people who may experience occupational therapy
