Property Summary

The assets in this package are located in the Upper Morrow formation within Ochiltree County,Texas.The Morrow formation is stratigraphically located above the Mississippian, andencompasses a stretch of land from the Texas Panhandle through southern Kansas. Its primarycomposition is shale and sand. In Texas, this formation includes portions of the Granite Wash, aliquids-rich tight sands play about 160 miles long and 30 miles wide, covering WesternOklahoma and the Texas Panhandle. The Granite Wash has seen a resurgence in recent yearsbecause of new horizontal drilling techniques developing to improve extraction and to pinpointformerly impossible drilling targets. The Granite Wash is a relatively deep formation, withdepths between 10,000 feet and 14,500 feet. Certain factors allow the Granite Wash to havepredictable geologic structures, making drilling easier for those operators developing the play.There have been 5 new permits to drill filed in Ochiltree County over the past 6 months.
