A production schedule involves working out how you can produce the product within a given time so that you meet the deadline! You need to be organised as the more you do this things will inevitably change and become altered but the plan will help you to still maintain a working deadline. This production schedule must be completed at the beginning of the production. You will need to know the following:

• How will you organise the production process?• What resources will you need?• What is the overall deadline?• What is the contingency plan?
