Sunday Series 8:30am & 10:30am Sept. 11 – Nov. 6 Being Intentional on the way we Walk as Followers of Christ and Not as Society encourages us is our Focus… Invite Your Circle of Friends to Join Us Local & World Missions Sunday, October 2 This day is set aside to receive Our Pledges & Offering for the Various Ministries and Missionaries. Special boxes are designated from the regular offering. Comedy Night Saturday, October 8 | Doors open 6:00pm Nazareth – one of America’s Top Inspirational Comedian! Doors open at 6pm – Show at 7pm. Seating is first come first serve. Burritos and beverages will be available for purchase. All proceeds will go towards Kid’s Ministry. Tickets available in foyer or church office. Clothing Closet Giveaway Saturday, October 15 | 9:00am Join our ongoing outreach of providing clothing to the community. All are welcome. The giveaway takes place on the corner of McKinley and Marks in front of the Quad. If you would like to know how to become involved, contact Carrol Turner at (559) 916-5088. Spanish speaking volunteers needed. We have a Unique Giveaway scheduled on October 15 as we will be distributing gently/slightly used shoes. On this day we will also be distributing sweatshirts and pants. Everyone will be served on a first come first served basis. Manna Food Giveaway Saturday, October 22 | 9:00am The Manna Ministry hosts a monthly food giveaway in an effort to provide a supplement to our community. If you would like to volunteer, please contact John Gonzales, (559) 908-6203. Clothing Closet Giveaway Saturday, October 22 | 9am Providing clothing for our community we welcome all! The giveaway takes place on McKinley and Marks in front of the Quad. Interested in helping? Please contact Carrol Turner at (559)916-5088. Spanish speaking volunteers are needed. OCTOBER 2016 Youth Bowling Night Saturday, October 15 | 5:00pm All youth are invited to join us as we go bowling at Fresno State Union Center. Cost is $10 – please meet in church parking lot at 5:00pm and we will carpool over there together. Leadership Training Sunday, October 16 | Following 2 nd Service Board Members and Coaches – Calendar Review 2017. Lunch will be provided. Fireside Room. Youth Gym Night Friday, October 21 | 6:30pm All 7 th Grade – 12 th Grade students are invited to come for a night of awesome fun! Dodgeball, Basketball, Food and more! Bring a friend and join us! Men’s Rally Sunday, October 30 | 5:00pm All men are encouraged to join us for an action-packed evening of spiritual encouragement. Of course, food will be served! Trunk or Treat Monday, October 31 | 6:30pm FREE EVENT! Invite your friends and neighbors to this community event reaching hundreds of neighborhood children 6 th Grade and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Photo Booth, Popcorn, Dance Station, Face Painting, Candy and more! If you’d like to volunteer for this event please sign up in the foyer. Individually wrapped candy is needed to help make this event a success. Bring all donations to the church office or foyer. Thank you! Encourage Groups | In Session | Join us Pick up a pamphlet at Guest Services, choose a Group, clear your schedule and commit this time to your spiritual growth!
