What is TWR? TWR (formerly Trans World Radio) is a global media ministry delivering biblical content in over 230 languages by radio, Internet, mobile phones, and mp3 players in over 160 countries. Through radio and other forms of media, the Good News can effectively and efficiently reach people around the world without the ordinary limitations of literacy problems and legal boundaries. One simple radio has the ability to reach an entire village!

My Role I will be serving as writer and content editor with the fund development and communications team in Slovakia for the next two years. Through my writing and editing of web and print materials, I will help TWR Europe clearly communicate its work and needs to partners and potential partners so that people around the world can continue to hear the good news of Jesus through relevant, culture-specific programming in their heart languages.

Hi Friends! I pray you are well! I have so enjoyed seeing many of you over the last few months now that I have finished my master’s degree in technical writing and am working from home in Sherwood, Arkansas. It’s been a little over a year since I returned from a summer internship in Slovakia with a global media ministry called TWR, and I want to share some exciting news with you!

 Faith-Based Mission Since TWR is a faith-based mission, I am required to find both prayer and financial partners to support this ministry. Before I can move to Slovakia, I need to raise $11,000 in start-up costs to cover training, travel, and transitional expenses and pledges totaling $3,730/month to cover my salary, medical/life insurance coverage, taxes, and administrative fees. I’m so excited to see how God is bringing hope to the nations and completing the Great Commission through mass media, and I would like to invite you to partner with me in this mission if you feel led!

Next Steps I’m trusting God to reveal my support team in His will and His way, and I am preparing to be in Slovakia in early 2015 (the next 3-6 months). I would be honored if you would pray about how you can be involved!
