Bata India Ltd – March 2010 till April 2015.

Worked as Retail Manager in BATA India Ltd., I used to handle the responsibilities for a groups of 6 district managers and 90 stores in a region which is under my authority. I had to manage sales and operations, control expenses and payroll budgets, handle personnel issues (manpower management), accounting, merchandising, loss prevention and expansion (searching for potential location and opening new stores).Responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service throughout all the stores in the region. As a Retail Manager, I have to be a role model and leader and must solve problems, make informed decisions and manage the workforce and time wisely in order to achieve maximum results.

Overseas Experience – Bata Thailand Ltd. – Nov 2013 to May 2014 Duration: 6 months

Worked on a special project as a retail manager for Bangkok, Bangkok-suburbs and Pattaya store’s operation. I was holding all the responsibility of operations as in for sales and marketing, merchandising, supply and distribution, recruitment and training. With the help of supporting departments, I and my team of 6 district managers we turn around the situation of non – performing stores to become profitable venture for the company. We grew region by 134% against last year. My KPIs were conversion rate, MSI and per square feet sales for the set of these stores.

Acting Retail manager – January 2013 to Nov 2013

I was posted in Delhi and NCR region as an ARM. I was responsible for 3 districts in Delhi, NCR and Haryana. With the team of 3 District managers I attain the highest level of performance in top line and bottom line and also in expansion part.

Sr. District Manager – April 2012 to December 2012

As a senior district manager I was taking care of Gujarat state which was holding two districts. During this tenure I was awarded as an employee of the year for family concept. I was taking care of a district in Ahmedabad which was holding 16 stores (COCO). Main aim was to understand the market and develop the market share of Bata against the unorganized market in Ahmedabad. I worked on top line and bottom line of the store, service deliveries at store level by checking customer satisfaction time to time ad worked on merchandise and display.

Under Trainee District Manager – March 2010 to Dec 2010

As a UTDM I spent time to learn how retail works. For some time I worked as a sales staff, asst. store manager and store managers, after the completion off 6 months intensive on the job training I worked with a district manager to learn what are the roles and responsibilities of a DM and how a DM react and resolves if any unforeseen situation occurs, also learnt to increase sales and profit of the store.

Macmillan Publishing Solutions – September 2007 to August 2008

I worked with MPS as an operation executive. I used to look after new order as well as renewal for Palgrave and nature journals for UK. Along with OP I was holding responsibilities of site license where I used to process for online subscription for libraries and educational institutes. I secured highest level of accuracy during the tenure.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Part of interchange program for getting international exposure of retail to BATA Thailand for 6 Months and was among the top performers of the program.

I have attended Bata shoes organization’s (BSO) internal training programs which are conducted for most promising employees of Bata India.

Trained and developed many district managers and Asst. retail managers Won Goa trip for giving exemplary performance in 2012. Got awarded for top performing District Manager all over BATA India Ltd, employee

of the year 2011. Trained and developed 27 sales staff who are working as a successful store manager now. Opened 40stores across India for Bata which includes 7 LFS stores. Received Awards for Outstanding Performance and Accuracy (98.9%) while working

with Macmillan Publishing Solutions. Secured 2nd position in Computers Knowledge in 12th. Received an Appreciation Award for outstanding and dedicated social service from
