The group looked at feedback received through its ministries as well as through the parish survey it conducted over the summer along with talking about, praying about its mission and vision statements before adopting it on behalf of our parishes. The mission statement is as follows: Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, the Faith Formation Commission strives to provide the life- long faith formation of our brothers and sisters in Christ in order to know, love, and serve Christ in this life and be happy with Him forever in heaven. Vision statement is: Know + Love + Serve Special Needs FAITH, FUN & FRIENDS: Did you know we offer Faith Formation for special needs teens & adults through the Deanery? Providence faculty and staff, student ambassadors, alumni, and friends will be on hand to showcase the school’s beautiful facility and extensive offerings including the recently completed chapel. Baptism - New parents are required to participate in the Pre-Baptismal Program offered in the months of

February, May, August and November.

Marriage - Before setting a date and making arrangements for your wedding please contact our pastor. The

Archdiocese of Indianapolis requires 6 months of preparation for Marriage.

Anointing of the Sick - Please call our Pastor or the parish office if you wish to be anointed before

surgery or during an illness.

Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) - If you would like to learn about becoming a Catholic please
