Because of the Affordable Care Act (ACA)—the law guiding Health Care Reform—everyone needs health care coverage in 2014. Peoria business owners and residents, however, know good health care coverage isn’t just the law. Happy and healthy employees and fami-lies keep communities strong. Small businesses (those with 50 or fewer employees) and people who buy their own health care coverage can turn to Health Alliance for plans that meet their needs and their budgets. “Health Alliance has been a part of the Peoria community for nearly 20 years. Businesses large and small count on us for affordable health plans,” said Jason Jared, marketing manager/client development. “We also have strong ties to Peoria’s health care community through OSF Saint Francis Medical Center and other local health care providers.” Health Alliance offers plans for both small groups and individuals in the Illinois public exchange, which launched October 1. All of our plans in the exchange meet (and exceed) the ACA requirements, covering these 10 essential health benefits:

Small groups can also shop for coverage at HealthAlliance.org or call 1-800-851-3379. Those shopping for an individual, family or Medicare plan can learn more about our plans at MyHealthAlliance.org and HealthAllianceMedicare.org.

For a copy of the Health Alliance guide to Health Care Reform, please send an email with “Peoria” in the subject line to [email protected]. Please include your name and address.
