Hajj simulation
Our students will celebratethe holly days of the monthDhul-Hijjah with many activities, Islamicstories, detailed explanation of the fifth pillar ofIslam (Hajj) and Hajj simulation. Please join uson Friday October 3th from 8:45 to 10:00 AMto enjoy the performance of Hajj simulation byour students and celebrate.Students are requested to wear white clothesor to bring a long white towel on this day.
Eid Prayer and celebration holiday
Eid prayer will be held at JAME Masjid onSaturday October 4th at 9:15 AM. Make sureyour children will attend this importantcelebration prayer.
Our school is closedon Monday and TuesdayOctober 6 and 7th
to ensure everyone enjoyingEid celebration with the family.
Daily Schedule at Meezan SchoolAt Meezan school, students are reading Qurandaily. Islamic studies is provided three daysand Arabic language class for two days/ week.Our teachers are working hard with thestudents to improve their education level toexceed the Ontario Academic standard. Yourcooperation with teachers is so important.

Uniform orderThe order of uniform was delayed due to latereturn of many size forms, but it has beenplaced this week. You may expect to get yourchild’s uniform after Eid Al-Adha holiday.
Eid Al-Adha student celebrationOn Wednesday October 8th,
each class will host a smallcelebration at lunch time.Each students is requestedto bring any Nuts free bakedgoods or treats to share with classmates.No cooked meals please.
No Pizza Day on Friday October 3rd.Friday October 3rd is the Day of Arafat and weencourage our students to fast this day. Thepizza day will be moved toWednesday October 8th and
student will have the pizza andtheir treats to celebrate.
Students Safety
Safety of our students is our first priority.Please help us keeping our school area safefor our children. Temporary school entrance (Masjid door)
will be closed from 8:40 AM to 1:20PM.Please contact us if you need to drop off orpick up your child during this time.
If your child is sick, we appreciate keepinghim/ her at home for rest. School staff willcall parents to take sick child home. That willhelp us maintaining our school in hygienicconditions.
If you child will be absent please call theschool at 519-767-0079 to talk to staff or toleave a massage.
When you drop off or pick up you child DONOT reverse you car! Please drive aheadand make a U turn safely at the empty spotsbehind the School.
Respect our school timePlease do you best to bring your child toschool on time. Late student will miss themorning Quran citation, Morning Azkar andimportant announcements.We also appreciate beingon time for school dismiss.

A trip to U of Guelph ArboretumStudent from grade 2 to grade 8 will have afield trip to University of Guelph Arboretumon Tuesday October 21st. Student will havethe chance to explore the biological life ofplants and insects as a part of their sciencecurriculum.
