on monday, october 22, 2018 at the city council meeting, the mayor will proclaim the month of october, 2018 as “manufacturing month” in the city of Hudson and call upon all citizens to acknowledge and recognize the important vital role the city’s manufacturing facilities have in growing and maintaining a vital economic base for the city of Hudson.

1. Tell us which issues matter to you. As you know, members are the driving force of the Hudson chamber. tell us what issues matter to you – the Chamber is the voice for business. A membership survey will be sent to you in november for your feedback and suggestions on how the chamber can provide value to your business.

2. Attend a Chamber event. check your newsletter each month for upcoming chamber events. Promote your business, meet other chamber members and find out what is going on in the community.

the chamber’s nominating committee is currently accepting names for candidates to fill three positions on the Chamber Board of Directors. Nominations may be mailed to the Chamber and addressed to the Nominating Committee (502 2nd Street, Hudson, WI 54016).

Serving on a Board of any organization should always be considered an honor, and the Chamber Board is no exception. A board member is regarded as a leader in the business community, a visionary able to determine trends of the future.

Additional names of candidates for Directors can be nominated by petition bearing the genuine signatures of at least ten (10) qualified members of the Chamber. Such petition shall be filed with the Nominating Committee within ten (10) days after notice has been given of the names of those nominated. the determination of the nominating committee as to the legality of the petition shall be final. hiLLtop pumpKin partythe annual Hilltop Pumpkin Party is set for Saturday, October 20th from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at YMCA Camp St. Croix.

This FREE family event, attended by hundreds to thousands of children and their parents, features a variety of activities including a petting zoo, inflatables, horse drawn wagon rides, a pumpkin patch with pumpkin painting, children’s costume contest and more.
