2 | Seniors Week - Get into it!
Welcome
The City of Greater Bendigo is proud to support the 37th Victorian Seniors Festival, ‘Get into it!’ which takes place from October 6 to 13, 2019.
The City of Greater Bendigo’s vision is to be the world’s most liveable community and events such as the Seniors Festival help us to achieve this goal.
The Seniors Festival is designed to celebrate you and the wonderful contribution that older Australians make in our community. I hope you embrace this opportunity to join with friends and enjoy the variety of events the festival has to offer.
Highlights of the program include the official event concert, You’ve Got a Friend – the Songs and Story of Carole King with a Touch of James Taylor at the Capital Theatre.
Other events include dance classes, walking groups, come and try days, fun and laughter, information sessions, yoga, gardening, afternoon teas - you even can try the ukulele!
There is something for everyone and we hope you get into it!
