OCTOBER 9, 2016 BULLETIN RAY’S REMARKS: “This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!” Isn’t it wonderful to be such a blessed people of God! We all have so much to be thankful for and we have so much in this life. I hope we always remember that these wondrous gifts and blessing only come from God. Our God is a good and loving Father who really cares for our every need. I hope we will always show God just how thankful we are for all He does for us, by obeying His Perfect Will and His Wondrous Precepts! I hope you all are having a great week and that you are busy in the Work of the Lord. Everything has been going well at the Bible Institute of Missouri. Our new students are doing well and we are excited to see their interest in learning and their growth in God’s Word. Today was especially exciting when brother Jordan had his first lesson on Salvation. He did a great job and is no doubt going to be an effective worker in the Kingdom of God. Please keep all these good brothers in your prayers as they study God’s Word and as they learn to be proclaimers of it. It is hard to believe we are already in October. However, October brings with it many blessing for us all. First, it is enjoyable to see this fall weather. How wonderful it is take in the great gift of God’s creation. How beautiful this earth and all its treasures are! Second, we have a meeting this Sunday for our new outreach program. I hope that many of you are planning to be involved. Third, we have our annual hayride coming up at Clyde and Robbie’s. It will be this Saturday @ 6. I hope everyone is able to be a part of this time of fellowship and Christian growth. Fourthly, we have our Gospel meeting coming up which starts on the 16 th . Remember we will also have a congregation-wide potluck on that Sunday as well. I hope you have all made plans to be a part of this time of study and growth. It will no doubt be a blessing for us all. Besides all of these things we have the continued work of our other ministries like the Agape program, visitation program, and many others works that are accomplished on a daily basis. It is a wonderful thing to be busy in the work of the Lord! Well, I hope you have a good remainder of the week. I look forward to seeing most of you tonight as we gather to study God’s Word at our Mid- week services. Remember the Lord’s day is just around the corner, what a blessing it will be as God’s people to gather and Worship Him on His Day! See you soon. THE LIVING WORD PROGRAM

SUNDAY MORNING AT: 7:30 A.M.

Page 2: OCTOBER 9, 2016 OVERSEERS OF: BULLETIN RAY’S REMARKS · 09/10/2016  · october 9, 2016 the great day of the lord is near! “days of salvation” other mission works overseen by

ELDERS’ CORNER: Our Gospel Meeting with brother Kevin

Rutherford is two weeks away. It is our hope

that you are making plans to be here with us at

every session and bringing someone with

you. You will be blessed by coming and hearing

and as well supporting the preaching of the

gospel. All Gospel meetings at K.E. are

designed to help us all build up our faith. One’s

faith cannot be built up unless they

attend. Let’s make this meeting the beginning

of a new era, that is, an era where the majority

of our members attend every session. That

will bring a great glory to God.

There are many weekend activities this

weekend. Please check the listing in this

bulletin and try to be a part of as many as you

can. By doing so, you will bless all those who

attend and be blessed yourself.

Don't forget our sick. We have many who need

our prayers. Pray daily for those loved ones.

The first meeting of our recently organized

evangelism team will be on Sunday night,

immediately after services, in the fellowship

hall. Thank you for your desire to reach out to

the lost in our own community.

Hope to see you all at all our services!

Jerry and Gary
