OCTOBER HOLIDAY ACTIVITY CLUB MONDAY 23rd October– FRIDAY 27TH October 2017 MONDAY 30th October-Friday 3rd November 2017

Please find attached Information, Itinerary and Booking Form for the October Holiday Activity Club. The holiday club is due to take place Monday 23rd October-Friday 3rd November inclusive for boys and girls aged 4-11 years of age attending Merchant Taylors’ Primary School and Merchant Taylors’ Junior Boys’ School. The Club is based at Merchant Taylors’ Boys’ School. Our ethos is to provide an out of school service, in a safe and caring environment within which all children who attend can relax, develop and learn as they play and have fun. NEW to our programme is children’s Yoga as well as a music workshop and a Science Investigation – a minibeast hunt in our very own John Bebb Garden as well as designing your very own sports bag in an art workshop. We are continuing with a Modern Foreign Languages workshop which will provide pupils with a taster of different European languages, supported through authentic games. Stories and songs. These fun and engaging activities aim to improve children’s confidence with speaking and listening. The # activities will be suitable for all age ranges and abilities at Holiday Club, regardless of whether children have studied the language before or not. We have a weekly trip to the Plaza Cinema to watch the latest movies as well as ICT activities and cookery and a multi-sports day. Pupils will require daily - a packed lunch, snacks and drinks - swimming kit.

Please note our timings of the Holiday Club are 8.00am – 6.00 pm. The cost of the Club is £30 per day or £140 for 5 days. Early booking discount is available and if you book by Friday 6th October the cost is £130 for 5 days. If your child is not collected by 6.00 pm you may be charged a surcharge of £10. If you need to contact the school for any reason during the Holiday Club please telephone 0151 928 3308. Please Note – we do not send out confirmation slips. Once the booking form is received a place will automatically be allocated. Holiday Clubs are always popular and therefore we do recommend early booking. We look forward to seeing you there.
