The biggest region of Ukraine:

• Area: 33,3 thousand sq. km, 5,5% of the territory of Ukraine;

• The sea coast of the Black Sea is extended to 300 km in the region;

• Border location on the extreme southwest of Ukraine, on the border

with Republic of Moldova and Romania. The geopolitical position of

Odesa is due to both favorable transport and geographical location,

and the growing intensification of its participation in large European

Kuyalnytskyi estuary has a high investment potential in thefield of tourism. It is a unique reservoir with a highconcentration of salts in the water and healing therapeuticmud, which turned it into a natural health resort.

Odesa region is a highly developed industrial region, whose industry plays a significant role in the structure of the real sector of the economy.

214 large and medium industrial enterprises operate in the region.

The industry of the Odesa region in 2020 is: 2.8% of the country's industrial

production (2020) more than 56,2 thousand full-time

employees (2020); 21.2% in the total capital

investment of the region (January-September 2020)

The industrial complex of the Odesa region is represented by enterprises which producing: vegetable oils and animal fats; dairy products; meat and meat products; drinks, vegetable and fruit juices; fish, crustaceans and molluscs; chemicals and chemical products; wires and cables, television receivers, electricity

meters; optical and mechanical equipment; refrigeration equipment, etc.

Industrial parks in the Odesa region

iPark

•iPARK is situated in the south of Ukraine, 25km away from Odessa city on the Black Sea

•Industrial park іPARK is realized by the largest private seaport TIS is a unique example of creating modern industrial and logistics cluster in Ukraine. The project will enable producers to optimize goods delivery to consumer markets in EU and CIS. Thus it will increase the competitiveness of goods passing through Ukraine, іPARK is aimed to develop portside area of more than 500 ha.

Podilsk Industrial Park

•The functional purpose of the industrial park "Podilsk" takes into account the industrial profile of the city, the available raw material base, the level of qualification of the population and the geographical location of the land

•processing industry (primary and secondary processing of agricultural raw materials, food production, etc.);

•logistics (creation of a transport and logistics center with the possible opening of a customs-licensed warehouse)

Agricultural complex

Odesa region is one of the largestagricultural regions in Ukraine. The landfund of the region is 3.3 million hectares,including 2.6 million hectares ofagricultural land, of which 2.1 millionhectares are arable land. The region rankssecond in Ukraine in terms of grain storagecapacity - about 5.0 million tons.
