Getting Started

Option 1:

Forming Team (Known Kids)

Choose a Problem

Choose Roles for the team

Register for the Tournament

Option 2:

Review the problems for the year

Choose a Problem

Choose a role for the team

Complete the form before due date

Kids will be paired up based on the Choice of the problem/timelines.

Participation in OOM

K-2 (Primary Section)

3-5 (Division 1 – Competition Level)

6-8 (Division 2 – Competition Level)

Minimum of 5 and Maximum of 7

Parents play major role as a Coach

Every team should supply a Judge and a

Volunteer for the competition

OOM Problem

Two different phases of Competition Long-Term Problem (Max 8 Minutes)

Spontaneous Problem – Hands on, Verbal, Verbal Hands-on (7 min timed, Unique to tournament)

Competition requires both phases

Primary Level – Spontaneous Not Mandatory (Coaches Decision)

Problem 1: Runaway 'Train‘ (Mechanical/Vehicle)

Problem 2: Experiencing Technical Difficulties (Technical Performance)

Problem 3: Pandora’s Box (Classic)

Problem 4: Lose Your Marbles (Structure using Balsa Woods)

Problem 5: Silent Movie (Drama/Performance Based)

Primary:

Wacky Weather Warning (Humorous performance with Rhymes )
