Visitation was held all day Sunday, December 10, 2017, at Shaffer Funeral Home in Bronte with family present from 4 pm until 6 pm. Funeral services were held at 10 am, Monday, December 11, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Bronte with Lee, Marcus Box and wife Phyllis of Sweetwater, and Powell Box and wife Joyce of Breckenridge. Surviving grandchildren are Brandon Box and wife Erica of Ellicott City, Maryland, Hannah Box of Plainview, Kevin Box of San Angelo, Blaze Box and wife Holly of Midland, Rikki Box of Abilene, Brooke Howerton and husband John of Fort Worth and Staci Seilkopf and husband Mike of Little Axe, Oklahoma. Surviving great grandchildren are Andrew, Chloe, and Mikey of Maryland Hayden of Plainview; Neveah of Midland; Jude, Joel, Jace and Jett of Fort Worth, and Allen and Austin of Little Axe, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her brother, Lynn Davidson and wife Shirley of Robert Lee, their children and grandchildren; niece Kathy Maberry of San Angelo, her three children and grandchildren; and one aunt, Lori Fields of Coleman. She was preceded in death by her baby girl, Dona Nell, who died prematurely after birth; her parents Elbert and Louella Davidson, her aunts Roxie Davidson, Dollie Davidson, and uncle Earl Davidson of Robert Lee; her sister Doris Price; and nephew Terry Hurley of San Angelo. Bobbie served as an educator in the Jim Ned School, Sweetwater Independent School District and Snyder ISD. She began her seventeen years in the Snyder schools as a counselor and administrator. She and S.V. retired in 1989 and they moved to Robert Lee in 1990, where they ranched. Bobbie loved to cook and especially make wedding cakes. She especially loved when she cooked for the family. One of her favorite times was watching her children and grandchildren. She was front and center at to follow in Paint Creek Cemetery in Edith. She attended elementary school at Green Mountain and high school at Robert Lee High. In 1951 she attended San Angelo Junior College where she was a majorette with the band for two years. Upon graduating from SAJC, she attended Hardin Simmons University for two years receiving a BBA in Business and a teaching certification. She made a profession of Faith when she was 17 at the Robert Lee Baptist Church. After graduating from college, she began teaching business subjects and coaching basketball at Jim Ned High in Tuscola. On December 22, 1955, she married S.V. Box of Tuscola, Texas, and they had forty-two years of wonderful life together.
