DEFINITION A repair concession can be requested from Safran Landing Systems to offer customers a repair solution for landing gear parts with damages outside or beyond CMM repair limits. The Safran Landing Systems engineering team will carry out calculations and fatigue analysis on the damage reported. If determined to be structurally acceptable and if fatigue life is acceptable, Safran Landing Systems is able to provide customers with a repair as per the repair concession process. Minor concessions are approved internally through an official delegation process from the aircraft manufacturer before being returned to the customer. Any major concessions are submitted to the aircraft manufacturer and applicable Authority for final approval. Once approved, major repair concessions are returned to customer. BENEFITS > 24/7 online follow up available on Safran Landing Systems website. > Safran Landing Systems target is to complete minor repair concessions within 10 working days (or 14 calendar days). > Minor EASA repair delegation from Airbus, Dornier, Dassault. > Repair is certified as per applicable regulation (in line with OEM design rules, fatigue specturm, aircraft weight variant). > OEM traceability of repair concession is ensured with state of the art tools.
