On May I. 1934, a beautiful "Princess" was born. Mr. Stanmitz Kemp (deceased) and Estine Kemp (nee Rolle) were blessed with their first-born child. Princess, affectionately known as "Momoi"', would prove to be an intelligent, ambitious woman destined to build a successful career in her dearly loved nursing profession.

While pursuing her student nurse's training which began in 1951, she caught the eyes of the handsome building tradesman, Mr. Nolan Stanley Hanna. A courtship ensued whjch resulted in their marriage on March 3. 1954 at Zion Baptist Church, East and Shirley Streets. This union was blessed with nine chil­dren.

Even though Princess' first love was caring for her patients. she recognized an even higher calling, that being the nurturing and training of her beautiful offsprings.

In 1962. she resumed her profession at Prospect Ridge Hospital and successfully graduated as a Trained Clinical Nurse in 1965.

"Momoi' ' would not allow or permit her many crossroads to defeat her. She turned her challenges into an opportunity co serve the elderly at the Persis Rodgers Home for the Aged for twelve years. Upon her departure from chis establishmenl in 1988, she was honoured with a plaque for long and dedicated ser­vice.

From March 8, 1988 to May I, 1999, she continued taking care of the elderly at the Geriatrics Hospital.

After a very brief illness, she was hospitalized at the Princess Margaret Hospital and on August 12. 2000 at 5:20 p.m .. she inhabited her new and eternal body. never to be inflicted by pain and disease again.

Let us therefore, with confidence, pray to God our Heavenly Father, the Giver of Life, that He will raise her to per­fection in the company of the Saints. The Lord be with you. And also with you.

Let us pray: 0 God of grace and glory, we remember before you this day our sister Princess Juanita. We thank your for giving her to us. her family and friends, to know and love as a companion on our earthly pilgrimage. In your boundless compassion, console us who mourn. Give us faith to see in death the gate of eternal life, so that in quiet confidence we may continue our course on earth, until , by your call, we are reunited with those who have gone before: through Jesus Christ our Lord. His only Son, our Lord.

He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died. and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven. and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come to judge the living and the dead.

All: Almighty God, we thank You that in Your great love you have fed us with the spiritual food and drink of the Body and Blood of Your Son Jesus Christ, and have given us a foretaste of Your heavenly banquet. President: Let us pray: Into Your hands, 0 merciful Saviour we commend Your servant Princess.
