INTRODUCTIONFounded in 1989, Carrol Boyes Functional Art is a dynamic organization overflowing with creativity and talent. The company designs, manufactures and distributes an extensive range of metal homeware, gif tware, flatware and tabletop products.

The meticulously crafted Carrol Boyes product range encompasses well over 1,000 items. Trademark metals and materials include pewter, spun and cast aluminium, stainless steel, chrome plated zinc, wood, leather, ceramics, glass and fabric, as well as ABS resin. The designs have become trusted collectables with an international following. Carrol Boyes Functional Art has 27 stand-alone stores in South Africa. Worldwide distribution spreads over 31 countries across North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Scandinavia, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and Africa.

Artist, designer and entrepreneur Carrol Boyes has established herself as an icon within the South African design industry and her designs have become a successful global brand. She finds the perfect synthesis between art and functionality in her distinctive work. These unique items draw their inspiration from both the human form and the beauty of nature.

The hallmark of this company is its commitment to individual empowerment, social awareness and community based projects. Since 2000 Carrol Boyes has donated workspace and has been the main patron to the non-profit Monkeybiz Bead Art Project. The company also holds a yearly ‘Open Day Sale’ fundraiser that actively supports and donates efforts for Breast Cancer awareness, and a changing selection of local charitable organizations.
