on the Parish Grounds. Don’t forget your Baskets, and remember to come prepared to take your

Friends, Holy Week is here!! Today we spread Palms before the Lord as He enters

the Holy City of Jerusalem to accomplish the world’s salvation. We have been

TRUDGING THROUGH THE DESERT since Ash Wednesday on March 6th.

I want to thank you for your participation this year. There have been so many wonderful

encounters with the Lord during this Holy Season of Lent.

I want to acknowledge and thank all those who participated in the

40 Days for Life to End Abortion, the Parish Mission with Chris Bray, the Alpha Course,

the Parish Penance Service, the Friday Fish Fry, the Stations of the Cross, the Exodus Bible Study,

the Thursday Reflections, etc. We were also blessed to receive a new bishop this

Lenten Season. Bishop David Talley was installed as the sixth bishop of the Diocese of Memphis on April 2nd.

I want to thank everyone who labored on March 30th to make the parish grounds look

beautiful and elegantly manicured for Holy Week. I don’t want to forget about the members of our Hispanic

community that provided mulch on a prior date. The volunteers of

St. Philip the Apostle Church rock!!! We are ALL grateful to you.

I’m thankful for the wonderful Parish Staff that has been working so hard this Lent and will continue to serve you

with unrivaled magnanimity this Holy Week. I’d like to encourage you to attend and participate fully, actively, and consciously in the Holy Week festivities.

I hope you can come to the Sacred Triduum this week:

Holy Thursday (7pm), Good Friday (3:00pm), and the Easter Vigil on Saturday (8pm).

We will add many new members to the family at the Easter Vigil this year. Come, meet, and celebrate

with your new brothers and sisters. We will have the bilingual Live Stations of the Cross on

Friday at 1:30pm. Don’t miss it!!!

Please bring CRS Rice Bowls to Mass to the Easter Vigil

or one of the two Easter Sunday Liturgies. See you this week!!!

Amigos, Semana Santa está aquí!! Hoy ponemas Palmas ante el Señor al entrar en la ciudad Santa de Jerusalén para llevar a cabo la salvación del mundo. Hemos estado caminando por el desierto desde el miércoles de ceniza el

6 de marzo. Quiero agradecerle por su participación este año. Hemus tenido tantos

encuentros maravillosos con el Señor durante este año sagrado de Cuaresma. Quiero reconocer y agradecer a todos aquellos que participaron en el 40 días para la vida para poner fin al aborto, la Misión parroquial con Chris Bray, el curso Alpha, el servicio de penitencia parroquial, el viernes Fish Fry, las

estaciones de la Cruz, el estudio bíblico Éxodo, las reflexiones del

jueves, etc. También fuimos bendecidos al recibir un nuevo obispo este Cuaresma. El Obispo David Talley fue instalado como el sexto obispo de la diócesis de Memphis el 2 de abril.

Quiero agradecer a todos que trabajaron el 30 de marzo para hacer que los terrenos de la parroquia se vean

hermoso y elegantemente cuidados para la semana Santa.No quiero olvidarme de los

miembros de nuestra comunidad hispana que proporcionaron mulch en una fecha anterior.

Los voluntarios de St. Philip el apóstol iglesia son increibles!!!

TODOS estamos agradecidos a ustedes. estoy agradecido por el maravilloso personal de la

parroquia que ha estado trabajando tan duro esta Cuaresma y continuará searvirte con

magnanimidad inigualable esta semana Santa. Me gustaría ani-marles a asistir y participar plenamente, activa y consciente-

mente en las festividades de la semana Santa. Espero que pueda venir al Triduo sagrado esta semana:

Jueves Santo (7pm), Viernes Santo (3:00PM),

y la vigilia de Pascua el sábado (8pm). Agregaremos muchos miembros nuevos a la familia en la vigilia

de Pascua de este año. Ven, conoce y celebra con tus nuevos hermanos y hermanas.

Tendremos las estaciones en vivo bilingües de la Cruz el viernes a las 1:30pm. No te lo pierdas!!!

Por favor traiga los cuencos de arroz de CRS a la misa a la vigilia de Pascua o una de las dos liturgias del domingo de

Pascua. Te veré esta semana!!!
