Welcome to Advantage 2020!
During the next couple days, you will connect with other new Bearcats, become acclimated to campus and have some fun!
Advantage 2020 Checklist:
☐ Visit the Bearcat ID Office to get your Bearcat card, if you haven’t already.
☐ Verify your enrollment in CatPAWS between Aug. 14-19.
☐ Pick up your textbooks at The Station (verify your enrollment first and take your Bearcat Card with you).
☐ Complete your parking permit registration in CatPAWS, if you plan to have a car on campus. Then, pick up your parking permit in the Cashiering Office in the Administration Building.
☐ Sign the Laptop Agreement in CatPAWS and pick up your laptop at Information Technology (take your Bearcat Card with you).
☐ Check your Northwest email account daily. Your email username and password can be found in CatPAWS under “Personal Information.”
☐ Attend your University Seminar class: Sunday: 2 p.m. Monday: 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday: 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Find your class location on your schedule in CatPAWS.

Bearcat Tips:· Your meal plan is active at 10:30a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15!
· Your advisor will email you during Advantage and include their office location(s) and walk-in hours. This is a great time to stop and say hello, ask questions or make schedule changes.
· All Advantage events will require a face covering and social distancing. Stay up-to-date on Northwest’s Covid-19 guidelines at: nwmissouri.edu/alert/coronavirus/index.htm.
· If you don’t have one already, create a free Zoom account at zoom.us/ so you’re ready for the virtual sessions throughout Advantage.
