MENTORING PROGRAM | ABOUT

The Diverse Scholars Peer Mentoring Program grew out of the development of the Leeds Diverse Scholars Program in 2001. Juniors and Seniors are matched with incoming DSP students in their first year to help them transition from high school to college. Mentors act as a resource and role model in the areas of academics, education, leadership, and pro-fessional development. To become a mentor, students must be active members in the Diverse Scholars community.
