ConclusionsConclusions

• Those that were 40-60 had the highest positive responses to online learning scenarios across the board.

• Those that were 40-60 had more neutral feelings about face to face courses being more effective than online courses.

• Those older than 61 felt face to face courses were more effective than online courses.

• When asked “Online learning is something I am interested in, there were no real trends for those in the over 60 age range, but the majority of those that answered marked it at a 3 or above.

Hypothesis analysisHypothesis analysis

I don’t believe I can say for certain whether or not my hypothesis was true or false. An overwhelming majority of those in “middle age” (41-60) were very positive about online learning and those older (61 and older) were all over the map with their answers: some who were positive and some who were negative about this aspect of learning style. Only 2 respondents were under the age of 40 and I don’t believe that is enough of a sample from that age group to make a statement about their trends of thinking about this topic.
