Welcome to the 2nd edition of Cleanzone Middle East.

The Middle East and North Africa is actively working towards emerging as a manufacturing hub, and the UAE is looking to inject US$75 billion into this important sector by 2025.

At the heart of the manufacturing sector is the Dubai Industrial Strategy, where the FMCG, healthcare, nano sensors and paints and coatings industries will all play important roles.

The Middle East pharmaceutical market alone is set to be worth more than US$44 billion next year, and the Dubai Science Park – with research and laboratory facilities - is a haven for attracting investment into the region, and clearly demonstrates government initiatives towards making this shift.

With this in mind, we’re delighted to return with the 2nd Cleanzone Middle East. This follows a hugely successful inaugural edition last year, where it was clear that cleanroom technology needed its own dedicated platform to discuss the trends and future development of this critical area of the manufacturing supply-chain.

We’ve expanded the conference programme this year to include an even more international and interdisciplinary look into the cleanroom sector in the wider region, and it will be the first of its kind to engage users and experts from various industries including micro technology, life sciences and production.

This is a platform that reveals the opportunity to find the new technologies and products they need to optimise their cleanroom production.

On behalf of the organising committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 2nd edition of Cleanzone Middle East.

The technical programme for Cleanzone Middle East has been developed under the technical guidance of DRRI (The German Clean Room Institute) to provide you with an innovative and comprehensive overview on the latest developments and scope of cleanzone and cleanroom technology in the region.

This year, we have been able to put together an inspiring programme with keynote speeches, industry updates, best practices and first hand case studies, that will allow you to update your knowledge and skills, learn from new and emerging research and interact with international practitioners who feel passionate about research and technology around cleanrooms.

The conference this year will focus around cleanroom design, research and technology, GMP and the leading breakthroughs in the healthcare sector.

Many distinguished cleanroom experts, consultants and specialists have joined as faculty members for the congress for discussions that will encourage further developments in the field of cleanrooms in the region.
