Objective This course provides Deck Officers on board Offshore Support Vessel’s (OSV) practical use and understanding of the AUTOLOAD vessel loading computer. Participants The course is designed for Deck Officers on board an OSV (such as Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels, Platform Supply Vessels, etc.) in using the AUTOLOAD software. Course Content Students completing this course will assimilate theoretical knowledge and gain practical skills to support their on board training in use of the loading computer AUTOLOAD. Theory and Practical GZ curve understanding. IMO & NMD criteria. AH stability criteria. Roll reduction tanks and FSM. Stability with pipe on deck. Cargo operations, fluid, liquid, bulks and containers. Auto ballast. SF and BM. All of the above in relation to Autoload Course Pre-requisites The participant must hold STCW Certificate of Competency and a basic understanding and principles of ship stability. Language, Literacy and Numeracy Requirements This unit requires the ability to read and interpret typical product specifications, job sheets, procedures and safety information as provided to operators. Assessment & Competency Achievement There is no formal assessment carried out at the completion of the course. 100% attendance and participation in the course is required. Participants will be awarded a Certificate of Training on completion of the course. Course Duration 2 Days: Day 1 8:30am to 4:30pm

Day 2 8:30am to 3:00pm

Number of Participants Minimum 2 participants Maximum 6 participants

Course Fee and Additional Service Costs $1,870.00 ($1,700.00 + GST) This course fee includes lunch, and morning and afternoon tea at the center. Terms and Conditions of Enrolment Course participants are required to agree with the Term and Conditions of enrolment. These terms and conditions are available on request from Offshore Simulation Centre staff.
