CHARACTER PROFILE

NAME– John AdamsNATIONALITY – AmericanOCCUPATION – Rifleman USA army – Superhero

Something sparkled in the distance among the rocks, he went over and picked it up; it was a small circular object with a blue light on one end and cord coming out of the

other. Rifleman John Adams was patrolling in Kandahar – Afghanistan when anexplosion killed some of the men in his platoon as the explosion took place he was blow back, Half of his body was burnt and his skin was pealing off, there were scars to theleft side of his face and his skin grew back like fish skin (scales). The object he found

before the explosion was then in his chest and when he woke up when trying to pull itout he couldn’t breath with it he is able to survive outside the water however he stillneed the water for his skin. After the explosion everything in his body is weirdespecially when he is around water; he has the element power to control it as well as

use the force of water, where he gets his strength from (something he had to get usedto) also ‘The ability to be everywhere at once’, being able jump from one place toanother, due to the radioactive affect to his brain (- this is how he transports betweentwo worlds – his home to his secret lair). His mission is to use his powers to save hisregiment and put an end to the war.

Visual concepts

My idea mainly comes from my research about superhero's and how they became to me ‘powerful’. And therefore I decided to choose a hero (a solider)and give him superpowers. He is almost like the chosen one as he was in theright place in the right time. After the explosion he is thought to be dead

alongside others in this platoon. His adaptions allow him to survive above waterhowever his secret lair is under water, where he goes to get way from the real

world. The locations I thought may be interesting is in a shipwrecked boat or in

a water tunnel underground. However I haven’t yet decided.

VUSUAL CONCEPT – HERO PROP

At first I thought that the hero prop should be sea related however as thehero is mainly living above water I decided to keep them personal to the

character. And being a ‘hero’ whilst on the army he already has hisessential hero props.
