About UsThe Ohio HBCU College Fair was created in 2009 to provide information and resources to help young people in their search for higher education. In less than three years, this event has grown into the largest college fair of its kind in the state. To date, we have exposed several thousand young people to the lifestyle, culture and academic options available at nearly 50 HBCUs nationwide.
Our Mission:
To educate students and parents about •the value of attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Assist Historically Black Colleges •and Universities in locating quality candidates throughout the state of Ohio.
Increase awareness regarding programs •and scholarship opportunities for underprivileged students.

Getting Started:
This guide is designed to help you get the most out of your college fair experience. We understand that this is an important process and it can be a little scary especially when there are so many great schools to choose from. We want to make your visit fun and informative and to help we have developed a list of sample questions to ask the college recruiters.
The following questions are separated into categories. This will help you to organize your questions based on generalized topics such as: Financial Aid, Admission, Student Life, Housing, Academics and more. You do not have to follow the list from top to bottom. Feel free to skip around and if there is question that is not on this list, do not hesitate to ask.
Good luck and have fun!
