Oil and Gas Resistant Floor Coatings

Oil, gas and other chemicals can stain concrete from deep within the pores. The longer the stains stay on the concrete the  more difficult they are to remove. There are two options for sealing concrete floors and preventing oil, gas and other chemicals from permanently staining the concrete.

Option 1

The most cost effective way to seal a concrete floor is by applying the Armor L3000 concrete hardener and densifier, grinding the surface with diamond grit pads, then applying a chemical resistant wax. This solution will give you 20+ years of protection and require no maintenance. The L3000 is guaranteed for life and by increasing its strength by 45% you will also increase the service life of the concrete.

Option 2

The second alternative is the Armor UTN60 – the guaranteed toughest coating on the market with an unmatched level of protection against chemicals. While it is guaranteed to last for 10 years, when properly applied it can last for 20+ years.

The Armor Alpha UTN 60 is a two component aliphatic polyurethane coating with excellent abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, hot tire resistance and UV Stability. Made from 60% solids, it is designed as a high performance topcoat.

It is an excellent interior coating for auto service centers, warehouses, computer rooms, laboratories, aircraft hangars, cafeterias, exterior tanks and other areas where high performance, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance are required.
